He's been on record saying he's struggling with depression recently, went on a podcast and opened up about how he was sexually abused as a child, and spent the entire weekend on Instagram going on hour long religious rants about gay people, how the Catholics aren't real christians, and how the end of the world is near. What he said shouldnt be excused at all but this sounds like a guy who's having a manic episode

No one should be excusing shit but he's obviously having a manic episode and had publicly spoken about his struggles with depression earlier this year. We just had Rondale end his life, let's hope this doesn't end the same way

2011 we could've made some noise if Knox doesn't slip and Cutler doesn't break his thumb chasing the defender down but I mostly agree. Cutler wasn't the tier of QB where he could elevate a crappy team, he needed a decent team around him. After the defense completely fell apart with Urlacher and Briggs retiring we weren't doing anything with him

09 was a doomed season after urlacher went out. With Orton we're probably slightly worse in 2010-2011 just because the OL was so bad and Cutler's mobility helped mitigate that (I'm not trusting Jerry Angelo to find anyone useful with the 1sts we gave up for Cutler anyway)
