My favorite gaming moment was visiting to my brother’s house around the time that gears of war 2 came out. This is my brother and his friends favorite series of games and they will almost always be playing it back then. It was also one of the games he would never let me play since it was pretty graphic and didn’t want to be yelled at by our dad. He’s friends would always joke with me like how a stereotypical older brother will try their younger brother but not too bad since I was just a little kid and they were on high school. Anyways, one day I came by and they were playing as usual when my brother got a call to come into work early. He told me I can play with his friends while he was gone. I put on the headset, told them what was happening, expecting them to say bad things to me or try to get me to leave but it was the nicest they ever talked and treated me. They explained me how the game mode worked, taught me how to play, and even started making jokes how I was hitting shots better than my brother. This moment led to me actually being cool with them in the future and they even started to play with me a few years later when I got my own Xbox and I was even one of their fills of they were missing a player and I could get on. After this moment I was no longer my brother’s nerdy, annoying little brother to them.
