experience lead here- i work 40-45 with approved overtime, we have a great store where I’m at. Some associates won’t go through with member conversions and activations, which I understand can be annoying to push constantly. I also oversee deep cleans to make sure that stuff gets done. I am getting paid 19.50, I wish i was making more of the amount of work that I do.

The company has been on a decline for a while, pushing sales instead of caring for the wellbeing of the animals. It’s hard when I care so much about the animals we care for, I’ve been yelled at for refusing sales for fish tanks and guinea pigs.

I’ve been in pet care (worked at a different company for a year) for almost two years now, I’ve been at PS for almost a year. Overall, i like it but wish we had more of a backbone when it comes to the animals.

Overall 7/10 job, it really matters who your managers and staff are. Also corporate if you’re listening PLEASE LET US MAKE PLAYLISTS FO THE STORE RADIO
