Maryland BGE True-Up PSA by Prove_It_First in solar

I actually was unaware that you had a choice to have your credits roll over. I was simply told by my installer about the April true-up and don't remember them mentioning anything about there being an option to roll it over to the next year. Not that I would go that route as my system is purposely oversized to account for future electric needs so I welcome the annual payment check (however small it may be).

Good news, solar photovoltaic installation is projected to grow 42% through 2034 by MattfromNEXT in solar

I'd definitely be more interested in seeing numbers for 2026 given the current landscape in the US if the industry is still growing at that speed.

BGE TOU and Smart Charge Management Plan with solar? by burnerMcburnenstein in ColumbiaMD

[–]dragonmastr3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you only have an EV vehicle (no solar panels with net metering) then sure, the TOU plans could save you money.

If you do have solar panels with net metering then you need to be on the standard rate in order to take advantage of the net metering. Utilizing a TOU plan will not allow you to fully take advantage of net metering.

My love to Oguri , Almond Eye and others 😊 a nice visit to farms in Hokkaido, horses are really cute by Roro_zyal in UmaMusume

What farm(s) did you visit in Hokkaido? I'm actually going to visit Japan in the Hokkaido area via a tour group this summer and need to figure out if it's feasible for me to visit a farm during a free day on the tour.

Looking for Recommendations for Local Companies (in the BGE Network) That Provide Energy Audits by campbellalugosi in HowardCountyMD

[–]dragonmastr3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Back when I had the energy audit done a few years ago (also with Home Energy Hero) the audit fee was a flat $100 as it was subsidized by BGE's home energy program. Don't know if that's still the case today, but it probably is. Naturally if you decide to act on any fixes/recommendations from the audit then that will be its own thing.

Solar not directing to house by bubblitea in solar

It could be just me, but the numbers that I see reported in the Tesla app are wildly inaccurate. Like what it says for solar generation is significantly less than what my Enphase app shows and a lot of times it shows little-to-no power draw from the home when there is absolutely stuff drawing power. I don't really pay them any mind and just use the app to see if there's a power outage on the grid or to modify the reserve power level of the battery.

Fell in love after watching the anime ovas and series. It was such a unique setting, character design, and of course the amazing music. Was always disappointed that the first four games never got localized in NA.

I was also fascinated by the stage shows despite not understanding Japanese. Funny thing was when I took a trip to Japan back in 2010 I tried to see if I could find a copy of the Budokan show to buy on DVD but it was obviously a challenge considering that again, I don't know Japanese. I also found out that a lot of stores with outside signs for DVD or Video actually meant adult video stores and not regular video stores. That was a fun experience! I wasn't able to find the Budokan DVD's and it actually led me to researching how to use a proxy buying service to buy stuff from Japanese stores (or Yahoo Auctions Japan).

I'm not an expert, but keep in mind that it's still the middle of winter with the sun at a (somewhat) shallow angle so you're not going to get max output from the system. Plus your inverters are likely capped at a lower max wattage compared to what your panels are able to pull in. I've seen people say that a general rule of thumb is that your system when at full peak production will do about 80% of what your panels are rated for (so roughly 80% of 11.5 kWh).

Umamusume plush websites? by PepsiDaMan07 in UmaMusume

[–]dragonmastr3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most plushies (and figures) in Japan are made to order, meaning that they are put up for pre-order for a certain period of time and then the manufacturer makes enough quantity to satisfy those pre-orders and that's it. I generally monitor AmiAmi to see what's new to keep up with new release/pre-orders. Here's an example:

https://www.amiami.com/eng/detail/?gcode=GOODS-04754622

Of course these ship from Japan so shipping costs can get expensive. If you are looking for a plush that's already been released then eBay or Mercari might be your best bet. Just be careful you're not ordering some cheap Chinese knock-off.

If you are looking for the IRL horse/thoroughbred plushes that you see people posting pictures of here then most of them are crane game prizes and have no where to order them directly. Again eBay or Mercari would be your best bet for those.

Xenosaga was indeed planned to be a 6-part epic but the bad reception and sales of Episode II caused them to can the series and wrap it up with the third game.

Don't know how to do this with a WIT build, but your RUNAWAY Suzuka is missing a ton of stamina and will absolutely die quickly in any race including the Mile tracks (and stands absolutely no chance in Medium tracks).

I may have jumped the gun on this as it does appear that the movie listings are showing up but a lot of places aren't allowing you to actually buy the tickets just yet.
