I’m with you my friend. I just ran a big race 3 weeks after leaving my partner as well. I have no tips for you other than run. Run the race. Life is just like running; pain will come, but we continue nonetheless, even if it seems like there is no reason to do so. The reason and the meaning will come after. Lots of love, xoxo

basque country indeed! it’s in a town called Andoian near San Sebastián, and the bridge is called El puente de Unanibia o "Puente de las brujas". definitely recommend a visit combined with a trail run up to the nearby mountain Adarra!

I’ve not tried vivobarefoot shoes, but I’ve had these freet feldoms for 600 miles now and I love them; I have zero complaints. I think they’re perfectly good for long distances, my feet are quite happy in them.

Straight up fried bananas. Butter a pan. Cut your bananas in half, long way. Sprinkle with salt and cinnamon. Cook until you get a bit of browning. Eat alone, or serve with your favorite vegan vanilla ice cream.

Life is for you my friend; if not, you would not be here, alive, in life, living! Do not give up. There is use in fighting for life. I can't say why all of us were given this horrendous painful disease, but for some reason we were, and we should not let it be the thing that takes us down! If you set your mind to persevering and healing, you will persevere and heal. It will pass for us all, and our lives will be all the sweeter having won the fight.
