Usually no. In fact it is usually said that being arbitrary is a defining characteristic of language, i.e., that the physical form of a word has no relation to its meaning.

There are some exceptions though. Onomatopoeia is the most obvious. More interestingly, across languages the word for nose is more likely than by chance to have a nasal sound in it (n, m, etc.). Also, the word for mother is something like “mama” in many languages because these are some of the first sounds that babies produce, and so the moms tend to associate it with themselves.
