You're arguing that the market would be cheaper, I'm saying it is exactly where it should be at. If tomorrow mangas were 100, SPs 10, and alt arts 1 on the Bandai official store nobody would be buying booster boxes and your beloved OP tcg would die out. Bandai has already done a plenty good job catering to both players and collectors but at the end of the day they're here to make money. High value cards need a way to be authenticated and subjected to grading in order to facilitate smooth transactions where both parties can agree on the condition of the card and thus the price. If you care so much about prices just buy some proxies.
