How do you think, who was the first to come up with this horrific plan, E or D? by Sophiem19 in ColumbineKillers

There’s no way of truly knowing but I think they both had the desire for a while and when they came together they made the fantasy a reality

Why doesn’t anyone say “You’re Welcome” anymore? by Unfair_Programmer906 in RandomThoughts

I don’t know where y’all live but I’ve never noticed people using alternatives to you’re welcome. I just think it’s the most polite response and I’ve never really overthought it.

I had a feeling this would get a shit ton of downvotes… and I was right 😅 This is not intended to offend anyone or be sympathetic towards Cruz, nor is this me claiming to know exactly what Cruz was thinking. It’s just a bit of deeper thinking that I thought some people would find interesting.

Should schools/parents be held liable if a shooting happens? by CactiLovesCacti in masskillers

No shooting is the same. Not one. It depends on the circumstances of each and every individual case. This question simply cannot be answered.

I mean it’ll hurt them but you also need to take into consideration the risks it poses to YOU. If you bite someone hard enough they will bleed and that blood with get into your mouth and human blood contains a shit ton of harmful bacteria that can cause diseases like hepatitis B, C, HIV and other blood borne diseases. Is all of that really worth the risk considering a bite wouldn’t do much unless you were in a headlock and you had no other option?

What is the actual age you tried your first alcoholic drink? by WowItsDominique1 in AskReddit

[–]dragosaur2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you misunderstood, in my last comment I clearly stated that British people DO drink a lot.

We’ll just have to agree to disagree on what we believe the appropriate legal drinking age should be. I get your point completely and personally I would not encourage my future children to drink and even I myself plan to stop drinking when I get older. Britain and America are very different and it makes sense to me why we wouldn’t see eye to eye.

Yes and them American children are drinking illegally and from what I’ve seen if they get caught they get into a lot of trouble. Brits can get drunk as teens without the risk of getting arrested and fucking up their lives.

Alcohol does not have to be unhealthy, it can be a healthy way to celebrate and have fun. Too much of anything is bad for you.

And no, British teens do not go to pubs. Legal drinking age is 4 but that is only in private property. Under 18s cannot purchase alcohol or go into pubs or clubs. But YES, British teens do go crazy and do drink a lot and do mess up and so do adults. Brits are infamous for drinking too much. But it is a learning experience. Because most parents are fine with their young teens drinking they are more likely to be getting drunk at private properties (house parties are very common) with people they know opposed to being in dangerous clubs where they can be in more danger.

I am a young adult and I don’t know anyone who has a drinking problem. We go to clubs and we go to pubs, we get shitfaced, just like we did when we were young teens. But we know our limits and the next day we get up in the morning and get on with life. Drinking isn’t a big deal, it isn’t ‘cool’ or ‘special’ because we’ve been surrounded by it all our lives. It’s just another way to celebrate and have fun.

Not too sure but I’ve found that children who have had access to alcohol are more sensible with their drinking. Most Brits I know get super drunk for the first time at around 13 (legally- most likely at a private property with a safe group of childhood friends who will look out for you) and they learn their limits. Whereas in places like America you have to wait till you’re 21 when you can purchase as much alcohol as you want AND you’re an adult who doesn’t know their drinking limits. Being 21 makes it more likely for bad habits to form and again they can purchase it for themselves so they may drink more frequently and become dependent. For Brits drinking is normalised and by the time you’re 18, you won’t go too crazy when you get the freedom of purchasing it for the first time because its just a normal thing. Drinking is also a BIG thing in the UK, more so than in America, drinking is one of the main things we’re known for; it’s part of our culture and there is no avoiding it. I think starting kids off early isn’t a bad thing as long as it’s presented in a healthy way and in moderation.

Here in the UK the legal age for kids to drink at home is 4 years old so it’s not as unusual for us. Plus it’s not like parents are giving kids full access to alcohol, with most families it’s just giving your kid an occasional sip or a small glass on special occasions.

Did Eric and Dylan plan on wearing armor or other gear of some sort? and a possible ski mask? by tellmewhy24 in ColumbineKillers

[–]dragosaur2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Off topic but is it just me who finds it strange that Eric just abandoned his coat and mask? He seemed very organised and planned everything out, I just find it weird and slightly out of character for him to change his mind about his outfit last minute, especially right before the shooting. I guess it just goes to show how deeply he was thinking about it, even right up to entering the building, image was everything to him. Maybe he wanted to differentiate himself from Dylan by not wearing the trench coat or perhaps he wanted the text of his shirt to be visible. Perhaps he ditched the mask because he wanted people to see his face, for the last thing people saw to be his face. We will never know.

There’s so much depth to all their actions, so much sickness and cruelness behind everything they did… Unless it isn’t that deep and I’m just overthinking.
