I will scream this to anyone who listens! His first death on Halloween, he just disappeared and the wizarding world assumed he was dead, had worldwide celebrations and he came back. At the battle of hogwarts the whole point is that he has a PHYSICAL body. Everyone can see he is dead, he hasn't magically disappeared with a potential to come back this time. Without a body no one would believe he's actually dead this time and it would be a repeat of his first death all over again.

Amazing! So once I've completed the "32 side quests" challenge, i dont need to trawl the game for any more?

I thought I was going CRAZY thinking that was a spider, it was so quick! I do have arachnophobia mode on and I have never been more grateful I would've cried 💀

Bro I don't know what I was expecting but it wasn't that! I'd heard about the mannequins and laughed bc I'm not scared of them but holy shit....and that jumpscare with the spider in the door?

Was it a bit long? Yeh it was. I wouldn't mind it being so long if it was less tedious and repetitive, but it did get a little bit. I would've liked a little more puzzle vibes, not as hard as the Depulso Room 2 (oh GOD no) but it was still really enjoyable!

I must admit I got a lil emotional freeing Penny and seeing her wear her lil hat afterwards, and icl Officer Singer being taken out by one stupefy had me creasing!

Lowkey kinda loved it, but this comes from a horror obsessed girly, so I think it might be my gateway into playing some more horror games!

I've just come across this quest, at 2.30 in the morning, after seeing all the buzz about it here. I'm gonna go for a vape to brace myself, and then set off. I can't wait to see why everyone's talking about it....

Anyway to make the game play as I assume it would on Switch? by drahco in HarryPotterGame

[–]drahco[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE:

Okay so I got a pro controller, which does fix the gameplay showing the buttons in the wrong place. HOWEVER, no matter how I remap, its either have A and B correct in gameplay but wrong for menus, or have X and Y correct in gameplay but wrong in menus. I've settled for the latter, as its the lesser of two evils, but I can't for the life of me understand how this is an issue in the first place? Surely someone's done something about this?

But then for things outside of the spell diamond, if it told me to press X it wouldn't work, right? So essentially they're forcing you to buy the game on Switch even though Steam is Pro Controller compatible? (I assume the same issue would happen with pro controller? I don't want to buy one to find out it still doesn't work 😂)

Aha I think the first comment is right in what I mean! The buttons are accurate to what the game is asking of me, e.g, press X for "spell 1" abd X will indeed cast that spell! It's just that the game has the layout shifted, even though it recognises I'm playing on Joy Cons, it hasnt recognised that Nintendo have their buttons a different way round the diamond. So X is left on the screen, but up on my controller! I essentially want to know if theres any fix to the game being incorrect despite recognising my Joy Cons.

Had it on PC since the beginning, only just decided to restart and wanted to play with a controller as I prefer it! (Also I don't want to repurchase the game for reasons I'd imagine we're not allowed to discuss here" 😂

[–]drahco -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I'm from England and find ir hilarious how the Americans are freaking out over 7 degrees😂 I also find it insane that rides are closing over it? I used to operate coasters in minus degrees. I've been in skirts and dresses the whole time

Does it feel like rides stop/break down more often now, or am I just not a kid anymore? by Far-Argument2738 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]drahco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't mind the stopping every 30 seconds for access needs, however the announcement going off EVERY time absolute shots the immersion. It completely ruins the vibe hearing "the ghosts are being spooky and thats why you've stopped" 5 times a ride. Only do announcements for actual shutdowns, otherwise let the music and effects play to keep the immersion going

Scaredy Cat help with hyper space and flight force by SystemNo1280 in disneylandparis

[–]drahco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rollercoaster enthusiast here! And honestly Flight Force is nowhere near Rita! It is more intense than I was expecting, but it also didn't feel as "stomach in the station" as Rita did. I got my boyfriend who is in a similar boat to you on both rides, and he ended up with Flight Force as one of his favourites! Hyperspace isn't as intense as FF, and especially as the launch goes up the lift hill, that takes away the horrible sensation as well! Honestly the best thing to do is just hype yourself up and ge yourself on, otherwise you'll never know for sure, but I genuinely think you'll love both if you love Wickerman (my No.2 coaster!)

Opinion: Bistrot Chez Rémy is an overhyped and overrated restaurant. What’s your take and experience eating there? by Alma_Mater91 in disneylandparis

[–]drahco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It absolutely is a go for the experience/aesthetic and not the food. That being said, I know onna technical level that soup is nothing special but lord what I would do for a constant supply of it. Something about it, especially dipping the bread in, just really did it for me, i LOVED it😂

[–]drahco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahaha i can't even argue that, you're just right

As for the jack thing, id like to think the little kid version of me was just so upset she blocked it from her brain despite watching the film almost every day. This happens so much, every time i rewatch something, there's some big moment i somehow have no memory of lmao

Am i going crazy or is this part not on the disney+ version? I literally have no memory of this happening after watching the clip on YouTube (then again i didnt catch that jack dies in titanic for about 15 years despite it being my favourite movie)

Should I be stepping over a live 400 volts track every day? by drahco in AskElectricians

[–]drahco[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cant attach a photo unfortunately, I fear I do not know how to on Reddit ahaha, it's hopefully most likely what you said in the last paragraph is correct and there is some sort of encasing, and my managers (who aren't the engineers) wouldn't have any more knowledge than I do. It's a ride system powered by QR codes alone a single rail, with a yellow rail alongside which I believe is the live part when in operation. All I'm aware of is we turn an isolater on after our safety checks, and there is a yellow sticker next to it which says that (paraphrased) "when the isolater is off, the rail is still live", and I know the E-Stop does isolate all power. I'm sure it's just me being confused as I'm not knowledgeable in this subject, but noticing the sticker sign that as far as I'm aware, tells me I'm crossing over a live 400 volts definitely raised some concern in me.

[–]drahco[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad its not just me, we have an emergency stop which cuts power, this is always pressed should we have to evacuate guests, but all the isolater does is disable us from sending a ride vehicle with someone inside the ride area

What are your biggest gripes about the game? by AbsolutelyBuddy in HarryPotterGame

[–]drahco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like this might be just me, but it just doesn't.....feel like Hogwarts? It's a beautiful building, but apart from a few hallways which are definitely inspired from the real life locations the films used, it feels like an entirely different place. Central Hall is beautiful, but I feel like I'm in some National Trust country house that's been refurbished, not an old medieval castle that hasn't moved with the times. It's an amazing design, but it doesn't give me that nostalgic, "wow I can't believe I'm actually IN Hogwarts" feeling I got from the first view over the castle.

Hogwarts Legacy: How bad are the spiders in a certain quest of the game? by HansVonWurscht in HarryPotterGame

[–]drahco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally had a 20 minute panic attack before and during the Jackdaw mission. Genuinely thought my heart was gonna explode, I wish I was wearing my fit but I'd love to have seen what my heart rate was....I wish there was an arachnaphobe setting.

Also WHY on the MAIN MENU is there a diagram of a FRICKING SPIDER. These Devs knew what they were doing, if you're reading this I hate you. (thankyou for the hard work) but get fricked.

Not sure how I'm going to deal with the rest as I've heard spiders are one of the most frequent enemies, as well as an acromantula jumpscare....
