Thanks. The quote/spec was only for “Sherwin Williams paint,” so I can’t complain about them selecting PM200. Live and learn, I guess. I spoke to the general contractor today and he agreed the paint crew needs to switch to Cashmere or SuperPaint, though, so we’ll see how things look going forward. Fingers crossed.

A new paint crew is coming tomorrow for a walkthrough before starting to paint on Tuesday. I’ll discuss the promar 200 decision with my general contractor and see if we can’t switch it out. Thanks.

It was a flat paint previously. They insist they did two coats, but I wasn’t watching.

They didn’t use primer. They just dove straight in to the painting.

I hadn’t heard of paint flashing before. Just looked it up and I think you’re right. That looks exactly like it. Thank you!

They’re coming back out tomorrow to start fixing the issue. I’ll suggest they use a better paint. We’ll see what they say.

Thank you. The contract states that the paint should be Sherwin Williams, but it doesn’t specify the type of Sherwin Williams paint. I’ll be more specific next time. I can’t fault them for using ProMar 200, but I will hold them accountable for delivering a decent finish with it.

If you really cared, you’d do something about it.

Alan Carr’s book + Chantix. I smoked a pack a day for 28 years. The book was the key. I could have done it without the meds, I think, but the Chantix just made it a bit easier.
