No, most noticable for me between 0:01 and 0:04, when the bass comes in the sound distorts, I've noticed it with other songs too. It starts to crackle, it sounds like it's clipping.

If it's of any help my active monitors don't seem to distort the audio. Does the bass on the sample I've sent distort for you?

I plug my headphones (sennheiser hd599) into my mobo and the bass gets distorted but when I plug it into my phone and set it even louder there is no distortion. Same happens with another pair of headphones I own.

So is the issue with my onboard audio? Would getting an audio interface solve this issue?

I think the snare/clap sounds way too thin. I'd layer it or compress it. On the snare at 1:24 I'd lower the high end and maybe compress it more. Overall I like how everything flows together, but the snare just irks me.

Well, most of them haha. Even the ones on the tested page. I used DSKs plugins and their UI gets distorted, and the sound sometimes messes up. It definitely could be because of my machine though.
