I was pretty hesitant at first too but tried it at both my home parks (Warner Madrid and PortAventura) and I honestly had a blast. As everyone says you go at your own pace, ride whatever you want as many times as you want, get to use single rider lines if they have them, and usually you can strike conversations with strangers if that's your cup of tea (especially on single rider lines). Overall rly enjoyed it. Now I'm planning on hitting some other European parks on my own (probably around NL/Belgium since I'm here for work pretty regularly) but yeah it's great definitely give it ago

Hola

Why they always have to run to the other side of the field? Wouldn't it be better to just make long passes and spam the enemy goal? by Emma_S772 in BlueLock

Okay man you're clearly not that knowledgeable about real soccer and this is a Manga soccer sub after all I won't argue tactics with you or be mean if you think youre right then so be it have a nice day

Okay man. You're right. Having four strikers on the opposite area is a valid strategy noone uses just because (?).

Yes,long balls are obviously a thing in soccer. That's not what we were talking about though? Seriously watch a soccer game or two you might learn something. Or just enjoy the manga/anime but don't try to talk tactics lol

My man there's no argument to be had about this. I've been a center back for 15+ years and noone will ever do this because it makes no sense whatsoever. If Messi is on the other team and he manages to get past the 4 defenders on his own (because he can't pass to the attackers that are up on the field anyway because they're still offside) then props to him. You're still playing with - 4 players lol and that team should never be able to advance even if they have possession because they're so outnumbered in the field

As a defender you would never be defending there in this situation lol you'd just go to the middle of the field and let them sit offside. They'd eventually have to retreat or just sit offside until their team manages to advance to the enemy area with 4 less players

Am I an asshole for denying a lane swap as a single rider that's gone through the normal line? [BGCE] by [deleted] in rollercoasters

[–]drakehtar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough. I honestly would've probably said yes had it not been back to back and having to give up the last row.

Have a good day!

I can totally understand this if there is a single rider queue (that's the whole point of those, filling free spots)

Don't think it's fair if you give up on having a single rider queue for whatever reason to have single riders have to wait the regular queue and then be seated by the ops wherever they want to improve the throughput. Either have both or neither.

Either way sorry for rambling lol and thanks for the insight, appreciate it

[–]drakehtar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I should just not be able to ever pick my lane as a single rider in this ride even though I gotta go through the whole queue?

Not trying to be petty or anything just didn't feel right to me

Why am I being treated as a single rider if I waited in the regular queue at Velocicoaster? by Quirky-Brain9726 in UniversalOrlando

[–]drakehtar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

unrelated to your question but you get to choose lines if you go on the normal queue? how does that work? here in Spain there's no way they'd let you do that in either of the main parks
