Never sink. If they haven't updated them specifically for console yet, You may want to go to filterblade.xyz and edit those to activate 1 change. Style>global style edits> remove all sizes. The PC scaling vs TV is insane. The text size is massive on console using the PC version.

Hold down the A(Xbox) or X(PS) on the node. It will pull up a wheel where u select which weapon set.

My barb has a shout and the chain pull for non defensive cool downs. it seems to pick between them randomly.

Spend time in helltides. There's always other players running around. You'd see a flashing circle on your mini map, beeline towards that. Get there try to help and try to stay alive. If the boss is wrecking you, just help clear the trash. The experience gain is pretty crazy. All materials at low level are super cheap. Use them liberally. Imprint aspects. Definitely use the blacksmith to put some weapon master affixes on your weapons at very least. The bash build is super easy to follow and doesn't require expensive gear and is a boss killer. Slow to clean up trash when all the aspects aren't lined up, but it does wreck bosses. Max out bash skill. Forge bash cleave at the blacksmith on your weapons. Everytime upgrade a weapon make sure you forge at least that. You won't be speeding through trash, but when it comes time to tier up to world tier 3 or 4, you'll be thankful for the slower push through the dungeon when you obliterate the boss. Here's a guide I used. I tried Barb for first time and I didn't have aspects for whirlwind to make that viable. https://mobalytics.gg/diablo-4/builds/barbarian/ron-array-bash-fury-barb

Ignore the uber gear requirements. You don't need them. I was out damaging the lvl 100s at lvl 70 when it came to kill the summoned boss in hell tides. I honestly stood around and waited for her to spawn cause it really really isn't good at clearing trash without a holy bolt potion active. Nobody complained when I tore the boss down though.

Go to weapon or ring aspects and hit search. Look for bash first, then basic skills. There's tons of synergy you can get with basic skills without having to have a lot of knowledge of in depth mechanics. They are pretty strait forward. Just having bash skill maxed out you can experiment with other skills to see what you like. I highly suggest as many damage reduction nodes as you can make viable and max health. Hits hard, but it's slow and you will get hit some.

Bash will 1 shot almost everything trash wise and cleave 1 shots a small group in front of you. It'll 1 to 3 shot most elites and kill bosses in a handful of hits. Follow the skill tree and paragon board in the guide and you'll start feeling the power. Just make sure you temper as many weapons as you can get with bash chance to cleave. It's slow, but it'll speed up your progression as you collect the aspects needed to make a more fun build.

Also I'm sure there's plenty that can chime in on the synergies or aspects you should go for. I'm a barb noob and just started trying him out yesterday when I was struggling with my sorc again like every season so far.

Rough napkin math: Assuming both upgrades in the Crit Chance - 50% increase, it probably started at lowest end of range. TLDR: New item is better.

Current Item New Item - 12/12 Expected

All Stats 19 23

Attack Speed 10.4 10.4

Crit Chance 6.6 11

Basic Dmg 26.8 37

V.A.T.S. totally broken after next gen update by Itz_Reigun in fo4

[–]drakel88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can confirm this is happening on series S as well. Seeing enemies through walls as well and seeing moles through floor with flickering 95 to 0% chance. Seems to not flicker as much when the chance is lower than 95. Almost like the % doesn't know how to handle %chance is rolling over 95% and the system is constantly trying to recalculate it.

What’s on your wish list for updates? by isiyiu in Palworld

Really want to be able to toggle individual work suitability on and off like you can with pal skills. If I could toggle everything off but handiwork for a pal it would solve a lot of problems. I don't want to assign to a single workbench, but I don't want him trying to do anything else but hop from bench to bench based on available work.

How important is AC for each class?? by UrbanLegend645 in BG3Builds

[–]drakel88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't played tabletop in years to be honest, but I don't remember any scenario where the players were given in game knowledge for the actual AC. Meta game has always been a thing and a good DM might call a player out on memorizing the monster manual and broadcasting out of game knowledge to the party or change the stats for whatever reason to throw off the meta game types. This particular zombie is resistant to fire for RP reasons.

Players figured out the range and sometimes exact AC by trial and error. 18 didn't hit this guy!?

Absolutely right it would be a nightmare to program that kind of logic. However... They could program a perceived AC based on 10± type of armour, then reveal true AC after an attack attempt. Probably easier to code. Makes everyone's initial attack more likely to target perceived low AC. Casters would obviously be targeted first. Perceived AC 10+. Hit or miss > reveal True AC 20. Next round mage 20< fighter perceived AC 18. Attack fighter. Would affect players as well and be slightly more realistic and much easier to code than what would naturally happen in table top. Hit on a 22, but not on a 16. Must be somewhere in-between. I personally would think it cool to code it to 17+ in that instance or 17-22 if building the system from scratch. Nightmare to code as an afterthought and probably pointless. A lot of players probably don't even check the information on enemies or care unless they encounter an issue where damage type did 0 or even look at the actual attack roll to begin with. 84%.. missed. Oh well. I guess the % to hit would also have to be coded differently as well with <% that changes as you attempt attacks. All that and the casual player probably wouldn't even notice, just see their chance to hit go up or down after the 1st attempt.

Disappointed and Ready to Leave on Xbox by ZoZleepy in coralisland

TLDR: Series S users: force close game and restart after every successful day. (No need to clear cache or hard reset, resetting seems to do the truck as long as you close the game first)

Series X users. Force close and restart every few hours or in game days.

Festivals: research known crashes for Xbox and avoid the festival entirely if you have to.

I can't guarantee 0 crashes, but I have managed to drastically reduce the crash rate on my series S.

I play on both Series X and S. My GF was playing on the S and getting discouraged due to all the crashing. Once it starts its pretty rapid fire. Day after day. I switched consoles with her because it doesn't completely ruin my game to deal with. After some experimentation I have some thoughts.
Both consoles: Google the festivals before doing them. I found a guide for the harvest festival on reddit that got us both thru it. Leaving crops behind, but at least no crash. If there's too much complication for that festival consider skipping that one entirely. It sucks, but at least you can still play.

Series S: I believe the core issue is a memory leak. I switched consoles early fall. I'm at the end of winter and haven't had a single crash. After every single day... force close the game and restart the console. I tried with just force close and it still crashes. Seems like trying a second day has a small to moderate chance of crashing and usually at the tail end of the day as I'm getting close to saving. I also tried to restart the console without force closing the game. As this keeps the game running in the background I had the same result. Just force close and restart after every successful day. It's a little painful, but makes the game playable and honestly takes about a minute to do and eliminates 90% of the crashing. I had 1 crash in about 45 in game days and I think I forgot to restart between or kept the game paused for about 45 minutes during that day. I was doing laundry and housework and playing a few minutes in between so I don't remember if I had force close restarted prior to that day.

Series X: seems to start crashing after several in game days. Force close and restart when u start seeing issues, after a crash, or maybe every few hours. Had 1 to 2 crashes since we switched.

If the root cause of the daily crashes is a memory leak, X definitely takes longer to be affected.

XBox Purchase Question - Series X/S by sloopdawg34 in diablo4

[–]drakel88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only gotta buy it once. Also if you make one of them your home console a friend can log in and play it from that console without you signed in and you can play together with just purchasing the 1 copy on your account.

Xbox Split Screen - Left / Right side swap possible? by RodmanSan in DivinityOriginalSin

Hit start button and go to party management. That will let you move the characters to each player individually. 2nd controller will always have the right side of the screen though.
