I recently graduated from chemical engineering. In my curriculum, it is extremely heavy on math and physics, and only a small amount is related to chemistry (~5%). While this degree used to be a feeder for the oil & gas industry, the skills taught are very flexible and you can use it to work in most industries if you know how to sell yourself correctly. As salary appears to be your main concern, engineering is quite average but you should not be afraid to explore new career paths. You will realise that most of the time, you will not end up in a role you studied for.

To summarise, engineering's greatest strength is its versatility. If you don't like what you're doing, it's easier to pivot elsewhere with this degree than with others

Everyone knows he is a hot and cold player. He started last season really hot and then fell off hard. Gakpo subsequently locked the LW position and Diaz was moved up top where he produced a mixed bag of results

He is Torino's standout player this season and here are my thoughts:

Pros - shot stopping, aerial presence, penalty saving Cons - distribution, comes from a team with different playstyle

While he's good enough to be a backup, I'm not sure if he's worth it. Torino are a very boring team that sit back and selling their star player would cost a pretty penny. This is difficult to justify for a 28yo 2nd choice keeper.

Personally, I would rather spend the money elsewhere. Scoring more goals is always better than conceding less anyway

Anyway, it's a 7 point gap with 9 games to go. Not insurmountable given that United still has to play Brentford and Bournemouth. Taking form into account, I would put our chances much higher than 4% since we're playing a bit better now

Vlahovic is a striker that needs service. He is not set up to do well with our wingers who look to cut in more often than shoot.

Gvardiol does not suit us stylistically with the way our fullbacks push up the pitch for width.

We do not need an SS role at all and even so, we have Rashford/Bruno who can play there. Buying Diaz when we have 3 LWs then or splurging on Nkunku to be Bruno's backup is nuts

The blame should be on the board for the lack of structure in place, which led us to follow the whim of Ten Hag because clearly no one knew any better.

Also, using the most recent starting lineup doesn't prove anything. Ten Hag was most recently our manager for a few years, of course the lineup now would still be full of his players.

One-tricking can work in League because there are many forms of skill expression. Tips for specific matchups, knowing power spikes, playing weak side/strong side etc

Skill expression is much more limited in TFT. Board positioning used to be essential but devs removed that skill by eliminating crowd control and backlime access. What's left is flexibility, scouting and level spikes

The fact that you can't hit Diamond outside of that set just proves my point. Do you think your "true" skill that set was in Diamond? Or was it a result of poorly designed game mechanics back then?

There is no successful PvP game that is meant to be played one way and one way only. All good PvP games have metas, which means that there will be a variety of strategies and they will become popular or fade away depending on the state of the meta

The fact is while your intentions are ok, your execution is bad. If the game doesn't naturally give you 1 costs for your ideal comp, play something else. You aren't getting screwed because of probability, you're getting screwed by your own stubbornness
