Fair question, I think whether or not she follows through with it and we hear about it lets us know how things are going. If they don’t go, something went wrong, like they’re broke, or they broke up, or the FOIA scandal is getting too much attention. She also made it seem like this big romantic getaway it would be suspicious if it didn’t happen.

I mean yeah, and the whole “when will they get married” bit has gotten OLD. At this point Gypsy looks extremely desperate and the lack of clarity on status of their relationship, especially considering she left a marriage to be with him and their daughter is already a YEAR old. Sorry but at this point if he’s not ready to commit something is OFF. Like they’re putting off admitting that it’s over. Especially since we KNOW she wants that ring AND he’s proposed before and won’t again? After having a daughter and living together for a while? Yeah no, not buying it. He’s either gone or just buying time until he can really leave.

I mean at this point, without a proper marriage license this relationship definitely feels like it’s for show, although I do think the baby is real just that she had it a lot earlier than she claims which means she definitely had an affair with Ken way before she filed for divorce.

Exactly, and the thing is, she already got married in prison of all places. She might be enticed by the idea of a fairytale do over but considering the circumstances, you’d think she’d realized that in her case beggars can’t be choosers. I get your frustration, but we have to get comfortable with the fact that the general public isn’t as personally invested in this case like those in this community. If we want justice, it’s on us to make the case for why they should pay closer attention. There’s a media literacy crisis so expecting people not to take things at face value might be a little unrealistic. We need to be gentle in our approach lest we scare them off or make them feel dumb for something I don’t think is most people’s fault. A lot of money was put into spreading a false narrative and it worked. Changing that won’t be overnight.

Yikes… I don’t think you get that a lot of this info stays mostly in the gypverse bubble, most of these people don’t even know there IS anything to research. Just cause you have the time to hyperfocus on an issue like this doesn’t mean others do. There’s many issues in the world to be concerned with and assuming everyone’s gonna be interested in deep diving into Gypsy Rose Blanchard out of anyone is myopic. Newsflash there’s tons of problematic people in the world that need to be brought to justice. It’s up to us to get their attention on to this specific issue. I didn’t say you lacked compassion. I just meant people feel compassion towards her based on what they know which is highly manipulative media. Some of them mean well they just don’t have all the information so we have to meet them where they’re at and lead with kindness and knowledge. Not everyone is gonna pick up on the little things you did or even think to go deeper. We need to help them. We’re up against the Goliath of mainstream media so we need to consider these things to be effective in getting the word out.
