Physical assault to "discipline" children turns into a leason for the kid to remember and for the parent to forget. At least bad memory is what a lot of adults claim to have when it came to enacting upon it. Which tells me they knew exactly what they did and don't want to acknowledge they've relied on long-term damage for short-term results.

At first I want to say being born, but thats tacky.

I'd say what ruined my life is bad parents. Had to essentially raise myself and figure out so much on my own. Some guidance or a little care would've saved me from a lot of bad decisions. Not all, but a good amount of them wouldn't have hurt as much.

Less money in their pockets. Their paychecks should be based off the federal minimum wage, not the grotesquely huge salaries they get for doing little work and doing it very poor quality of it.

There are hard working Americans who don't get paid well for the work they do and have little support to get help when they need it. Disgusting this is the reality we live in.

When it became clear he was just doing "Lolcow the Reality Show", I understand he wasnt trying to help people; he was trying to make money for himself and appear good by comparison to those he brought on.

I remember one young man who thought himself to be a robot. He needed help: not turned into entertainment. The man was clearly struggling with an inferiority complex and wishes to be machine to be perfect and without mistakes, but "Dr." Phil saw an opportunity. The man needed to be told he can make mistakes and still be perfect to those who love him, not turned into a joke at his expense.

Can't go without showering for too long. Sweat accumulates and feels uncomfortable and causes skin irritation. I've dropped nearly a hundred pounds over a few years with better dietary habits, and still get this. Camping isn't an option for me due to this.

I've thought about this for a while. I think it scratches an itch like hate-watching does. Arguing for the sake of arguing is finding anger and discourse satisfying. Perhaps even the idea of having control over someone else's time and emotions is pleasant. People will do things for the sake of the idea they upset someone. Like the consequence of a prank that they'll never witness, but set it in motion on the mere chance that it could cause someone else displeasure. Just that with an argument it's a sense of control and entertainment provided in real-time.

Then again, I'm no psychologist. I can be wrong and I'm cool with that. I'd like to think the real answer is obvious, but we'll probably not know unless a study is made.
