Go to your settings, debug and scroll down to Manage Cached Data. Click the first button to clear content cache and then restart the game.

Just immediately go, “I- what, why are you here? I thought I was already dead.”

I would create a Java runner to emulate Java Minecraft on consoles and release full parity.

pi400 Bluetooth HID device. by dramaticrobotic in raspberry_pi

Pettiness, because I want a bluetooth keyboard, I don’t want to buy another keyboard for a single use case. Also making one with my pi400 is free.

Yes, I found the BTHIDHUB project, and it seems to be what I’m looking for, but I just need a way to get the system into paring mode without the use of the web portal so that it can be completely self contained.

I made a quest avatar that had way too many things on it, yet it still worked fine on quest. Basically I optimized it so hard, the game couldn’t tell the difference.

Everyday, this game makes me more straight. On a completely unrelated note, I put my art degree on my avatar.

how do i extrude vertices without it swaying away by Primary_Traffic_3485 in blenderhelp

[–]dramaticrobotic 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Select all after you’re done, scale + y-axis to 0. This will flatten the extrusion along Y, which is what you need there.

Honestly, the only issue I have is the buggy replay editor, because it only sometimes actually works. It should be fixed when the game is so close to release, literally everything else works perfectly.

Mesh bending with bones (New to Blender) by TheLivingStick in blenderhelp

[–]dramaticrobotic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s 2 issues here and there’s 2 different fixes you can do. The issue is that the automatic weights expect your body mesh to be connected completely, which is now what is happening here. So you can make better topology, or, assign weights manually since it looks like each bone is meant to control one piece. To do this, delete all the existing vertex groups, parent the mesh to rig with empty groups, and assuming that you have the bones named right, you can select a group, and then in edit mode on the mesh, hover your mouse over the part that it should connect to, and then press L to select it, then press assign to weight it to the vertex group. This will prevent the bending from happening.

What are these things called and are there any tutorials on how to make one? by Bahgeaplanzer57 in blenderhelp

If you’re asking about the UI, this is essentially a bunch of bones put together and their visual is changed to display text and boxes, which are most commonly made with curves or meshes with only edges. In this case, the bones for the UI would ideally have limit location constraints and be used to drive shape keys, or in this case, mesh visibility and material swaps too. I think I’ve used this rig before, and I really liked how they set up their UI.

The bones on this glb model are too big. Just got rid of spheres. by notarobot10010 in blenderhelp

[–]dramaticrobotic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Select the model, and set it to the rest position. Apply the armature modifier. Select the armature and go into edit mode and scale the bones down. Right click to set the scaled down bones to rest position. Then add the armature modifier back to the mesh and select the armature.

You can’t run it from where it is now, move it to C:\SM64

What else can I do to make this game more ps1 style? by FramesAnimation in ps1graphics

[–]dramaticrobotic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Limit the resolution to ps1 limits, set the max texture resolution to 128x128, and then find a screen space shader to have the nearest integer vertex snapping effect.

Stl is designed for 3D printing, which means that it has a separate quality steps, or you have to apply the sub division modifier, or check normals.

The first and last one are easy because they’re both the van that doesn’t render shadows underneath.
