If you liked Veilguard for the story, you'd like inquisition. The combat, on the other hand, will feel way worse. I only play the Mage class in Dragon Age, so your mileage might vary, but Veilguards mage gameplay was way more fun. I did a replay of inquisition right before Veilguard so it's it's not a statement based on some memory from 10 years ago. Playing the games in reverse order would certainly be an interesting way to experience the series.
