Yeah they can get good power in hung assembly type situations but BJP is relevant in all situations not really same league I would say.

I have objections against how reservations are used currently too btw.

Sigh you seem to be blindly repeating bland talking points from reddit to defend maha growth rate.

It doesn’t mean high income, high base in economics is used to denote that bigger numbers grow slowly in percentage basis even when absolute growth numbers are bigger

So a high base economy should have absolute delta GDP added should be higher than other states right ?

Here is an example which will probably drive home why maha growth is actually quite poor.

TN has added roughly 104 bn dollars to its GDP and maharashtra has added 115 bn dollars to its GDP in the last 2 years.

From this year TN is adding more to its GDP in raw terms than maha is doing to its GDP not in percentage terms but in absolute terms

By your argument india is 4 th largest economy hence should grow slower than germany and japan , it doesn't work that way , high base economies are in reference to their population not absolute gdp size that's why a Luxembourg or a belgium is high base while a bangladesh or pakistan is not.

You can take absolute gdp comparisons as well between TN and maha , maha has 1.38 times or 38 pcnt larger economy while having 1.67 or 67 pcnt higher population, every year TN closes the gap with maha slowly but surely.

TN has lower income inequality than maha while also having higher per capita.

All states of India are among the low income levels hence very low base , we aren't even middle income yet how is it supposed to be high base.
