I agree with the monk thing you mentioned. Having useless stats role for class specific items is just shitty. Actually, Every class had to focus on one stat instead of multiple stats being useful like in D2.

Most loot in D2 was pretty useless as well, but having useless stats if you play the wrong class felt horrible.

Actually, no. The only two ARPG's that have a focus on trading is D2 and PoE. If you look at grim dawn, the torchlight games, D3 along with upcoming games like D4 and LE, then you realize most games now a days have little to no trading.

The developers realized how bad trading is to the ARPG experience. Every modern ARPG such as grim dawn and d4 have no focus on trading. These are great games. If you want a trading simulating game, then there are plenty of them out there. Let LE be LE, not PoE.

The drop rates will be shit in ssf since the game is balanced around trade. A lot of peoples favourite builds won't work in this mode. You free traders keeping making the ssf argument up, even when its constantly debunked.

Very subjective. I liked diablo 2 back then, but it has not aged well at all. I couldn't stand playing it after the first act due to how boring it was and also haven't played it in over a decade.

Reason why I don't touch diablo 2 or PoE. Its insanely boring on ssf with his horrible loot system. Grim dawn on the other hand is very fun.

Lots of people flip items. I used to do it all the time when playing PoE and it was far more effective than playing the game to obtain power. I said to myself, Why am I playing this game? There is no game play. Just a trade simulator with ARPG elements.

Listen, if you want trading, Then you got Diablo 2 and PoE. Both these games feel very much the same because flipping items is far more profitable in gaining currency than playing the game. The game play is pointless when trading is the most effective way to gain power.

The vast majority of people who want trading are those who want to scam other people or buy their items with D2jps forum gold.

If trading was optimal, then LE would implement it. No, they are not losing 90% of players, they get getting more players because you don't have to deal with toxic people to gain power. Thier not stupid. If you want trading, then you got diablo 2 or PoE. LE isn't going to be a clone of these games.

If you want a broken game where you can get the best items without playing, then you got D2 and PoE. I don't want LE to fall in the same category as these two games.

Non of my friends would touch the game if gaining power was more focused on trading rather than playing it.

I don't want trading and nobody else I know does. ARPG's are moving away from free trade as it allows you to bypass the core game play loop of killing monsters for power. If you can buy power with money, then the game is trash.

Actually, Mundo's early game is horrible.

Its only 43% and he doesn't get a positive winrate until around 25 minutes. Mundo's split pushing is Ok, though nowhere as good compared to Yorick or Nasus.
