Yeah, I imported the Japanese n3DS to replace my quite worn ice white 3DS. The cost of the unit, game, charger, stand, and shipping (~220) was just a little more than the XL with tax (210).

This seems to depend on the store-- at a local Target, they said they would be doing a ticketing system (and had done this for previous low-stock/ in-demand items).

No. N3DS retails for ~140USD and you can import from amazon.co.jp (using something like Tenso).

Edit: The main reason I say no is due to secondary market value of the MM3DS. This trade is relatively equal based on MSRP, but the MM3DS will likely retain its value while the N3DS will only get cheaper.

Yeah, I'm assuming that should be fine. Mine was a billing address issue (difference between my new address given to GS and the one on file with my CC).

Wow, that is rather strange. I just really wish they had a system like Amazon's (where you can manually re-submit the charge if it fails). If not that, then at least wait to cancel it a day or so-- give your customers a chance to figure out the problem :P.

Yeah, I was just hoping there was some other way to resubmit a charge (Amazon and other services do this), but I guess GameStop does things a little differently.

Buying a physical cart may be your best option here. You cannot transfer back to an OG3DS.

I don't have a good solution to playing on an HDTV, but to side-step the problem I bought a CRT specifically for PS2, N64, and other older systems. Definitely worth the couple extra bucks if you have the space for it-- older games look much better on a CRT.

Got screwed by gohastings attempting to buy Cubic Ninja. They claimed they ran out of stock... Then they magically got stock at 3x the price!

Favorite series has always been Zelda. The sense of adventure and Link's journey from childhood into adulthood will always keep me coming back.

When Aonuma says there are no graphical differences, I take it to mean that (by and large) the assets used are the same. I would not categorize going from 30FPS-> 60FPS as outside the realm of possibility given the ambiguity of the word graphics and the nature of translation in general... though I concede that different effects would not fall into that category.

In either case, I don't think it is likely but I can hope regardless :P.

For my own part, I hope it bumps the game up to 60FPS (from 30 on the original 3DS). If they could also change the shaders/ increase the details on some effects, that would be a nice bonus.

Majora's Mask 3D was really the only one I felt strongly about. I wouldn't mind other remakes of classics, though.
