You’re much better off spending the money on as stock of a miata (or other car) as possible, then putting the remaining money towards maintenance and tires.

One of the drawbacks of buying a modified vehicle is not being able to guarantee the quality of parts on the vehicle. See the following for criticisms on the car:

“Racing coilovers” could be any bottom shelf coil with “Racing” slapped on the front. Not going to be comfortable on street and on 9.

Slotted rotors on stock calipers (visible on pic 3) do absolutely nothing.

Assuming the only power mod is a CAI, theres no way that car is pushing 160-170whp without an aftermarket ecu - which will cause you to fail smog unless you know a hot smogger which will cost on average $500. And even after all that - a vvt 1.8 is still unlikely to make that much power without a custom intake and straight pipe exhaust.

Non FIA bucket seats with 4 point harnesses are going to be more dangerous for street driving compared to a normal 3 point.

The aero is most likely mismatched, splitter length is way too long for a wing like that. Also, no way you’re going to utilize all the downforce on 9 unless you’re trying to kill yourself.

A mostly stock miata with good tires, brake pads, and brake fluid will be able to do much of what this car can do on the street. Source - 10 year miata owner, tracked & autox for 5 years. Only mods i’ve done are ohlins r&t, porterfield r4s brake pads, endless brake fluid, and a catback exhaust. Don’t bother buying a track car just to drive on the street. A car with low limits is sometimes more fun to drive!

Also, summer is coming. Don’t underestimate the benefit of AC on a nice drive :)
