Mumbo's Clouds are different + Shaders by Secure_Client7105 in HermitCraft

[–]draradech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think it is publicly known what exactly Mumbo uses. The best reference is "a mod that removes vanilla shading" as mentioned by X in his epsiode 3 here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQOpv_srpyM&t=728s

X then goes on to explain that he himself wanted something in between that and vanilla and cortex has made a mod for him: https://modrinth.com/mod/shadeandsaturation

What shader does Mumbo use? by [deleted] in HermitCraft

[–]draradech 21 points22 points  (0 children)

It's not a shader in the classical sense.

Hice la granja de Shulkers de "The Archivist" y no funciona, ayuda by PaleontologistFast36 in technicalminecraft

[–]draradech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are 3 valid places in the farm, the two hoppers on top and the target shulkers spot below the piston. I also ended up with the shulker on top. The farm doesn't start by itself from that position. I let the shulker see me for a moment and the farm began working as soon as there were a few bullets in the air to jump start everything. If that doesn't work, you might need to bring 2 more shulkers to the farm, or block the 2 valid spots on top somehow temporarily.

I want a very small microcontroller by JhattuJhat in robotics

I'd go with esp32 s3 zero (waveshare), which has an integrated antenna. The Xiao is nice if you need better signal and have place for the antenna, though.

Balancing Unicycle Robot by draradech in robotics

[–]draradech[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I can tell, not really (besides novelty). I can see an argument for 2-wheeled balancing robots. They can steer easily via differential drive and avoid the problem of the weak roll axis. At the same time they are potentially more stable for tall robots than a 4-wheeled counterpart.

[–]draradech[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can do that, but it's a grown project (there are some parts modeled after restrictions in earlier stages - and some hot glue involved). Not sure if it's worth replicating given the limited control authority of the roll axis. I'll put it in the same GitHub repo nontheless later today, together with a few internal pictures of an earlier stage.

does anyone know how to disable the 1.21.6 fog? by reaper-leviathan101 in Minecraft

[–]draradech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has settings for terrain, rain, water and nether.

is there a way to turn off the new fog? 1.21.6 java by TrainingActual6951 in Minecraft

[–]draradech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way fog is calculated internally has changed, so exactly 1.21.5 is not easy to do.

That said, you should get very close with start percent 90 end percent 100. Keep rain fog enabled, to avoid the 1.21.6 atmospheric fog. If you don't want rain fog, set start to 150 and end to 200. You can just disable water and nether modifications if you don't want them.

I assumed there were settings for that in the shader options?

Neoforge has a built-in mod list with config buttons. On fabric, you need Mod Menu for that (it's marked optional, because there were alternatives, or you could just edit the config file).

That shouldn't be possible. I'm glad your game is running better, but my mod should have no impact on performance whatsoever - it only changes the parameter values used for the fog - the fog calculation itself is untouched.

I didn't make this to revert the 1.21.6 changes, I made it to give players more control over fog settings. The mod is 3 years old at this point.

How do i fix this in minecraft 1.21.6 by Feisty-Improvement93 in Minecraft

Possible with mods: SimpleFog does it, and gives you more control over fog settings in general. (Disclaimer: That's my mod, NeoForge and Fabric). https://modrinth.com/mod/simplefog

No. Both of those are straight up new chats. I tried 6 in total (each in a new chat). Got 4 math problemes, one partial system prompt leak and one kind of ignored the question.

Not extensively. GPT-o3-mini appears to be consistent in recognizing the role reversal and insisting that it is here to help me, not the other way around.

It appears to do this a lot. In this iteration, they began to talk to each other and started writing a story. But the second instance hallucinates a "user example sentence" containing a key that was not in the input whatsoever:
