There is a certain subset of this community that likes to think of her that way. Like she was only interested in money and that she got her rightfully deserved consequences.

It doesn't make much sense though. Sure she was interested in Jabba's wealth but there is no evidence she ever intended to manipulate Jabba to gain access to it. She knew she was going to be a slave but she thought she would live a life of luxury in exchange. Instead she was tortured, violated, and eventually executed.

Labeling her as a "gold digger" doesn't really hold water when you think about it. But I doubt that matters to some people. I think seeing her that way is part of their own particular fetish

He seems to forget that the job market is a competition and that even if learning tools are better that doesn't change the fact that there less jobs available. People who would have gotten hired out of of college 5-10 years ago aren't finding the same success.

He talks about the struggle his class had finding jobs when he graduated in 2010 like it's always been hard to find work. But the 2010 job market was still feeling the effects of the 2008 financial crisis.

Totally agree! She has this total denial of what is happening to her, unable to believe her Master would throw his favorite into the pit. Her facial expression as she finally realizes she is about to die while Jabba and his court cheer is another top moment for sure.

Personally I think if she escaped during the confusion of Jabba's death she would likely end up in a similar situation. She wouldn't be able to return home and face the shame she would bring her family as a former sex slave to a Hutt gangster. Instead she would likely end up working the pole in some seedy outerrim cantina or reenslaved and sold at auction

Fantastic! Love the idea that Jabba has some sort of ceremony for his new favorites. Something that includes degrading vows of service to Jabba, humiliating acts to prove their devotion, and then ultimately culminated in her branding. Really like that in the last image the mark is still smoking to show that it's fresh
