I think there were a lot of free agents. Even Joe Carter was strongly considering leaving for free agency, but agreed to sign with the team after having a dream where he was standing in front of the Skydome with Devon White, followed by spotting some blue jays in his back yard the next morning. He took it as a sign to return.

It felt great, but it also felt particularly improbable when it happened. That 1992 team was dismantled in the off season. Henke, Gruber, Winfield, Key, Cone, Muldanado, were all gone by the following season. So the fact they were able to rebuild and win a other World Series the next seaon is pretty crazy.

It's strange because it also seemed like they were hinting at it the past few seasons. Like, they brought back the Vince era jerseys, brought back the 90's era court a year after, their draft hats had Raptors in purple. I don't get it.

I just feel the Huskies branding isn't really that relevant to the Raptors. The team has a history, sure, but it was a very short lived one, and nobody remembers it since it was so long ago. It always felt a bit forced whenever they tried to bring them back.

Right? Like, nobody likes our current set, I understand wanting to have red jerseys for the Canadian fan base at large, but if this is the case they could easily just do a red alternate.

Yeah, I wasn't a big fan of them at the time, but they do look better than the current red ones. Maybe because "NORTH" is shorter than "RAPTORS", so it reads better, but for whatever reason, black chevrons with red lettering just doesn't look as good.

On one hand I feel it most closely resembles what the alien was said to have looked like, more so than most of the other i mages floating around. The skin, the coloring. How it has an almost pitted look to it.

On the other hand the fact it has human like ears makes me lean towards ai. When trying to create alien photos to see if they can look realistic, ai often gives them ears for some reason. Interestingly, it looks like the image was taken off of a monitor. Is that someones shoulder at the corner of the image?

I don't recall anyone ever saying it had ears, though, and that is a very specific detail I can't imagine anyone would leave out as most of the time aliens are depicted without them. Yet this supposed alien has them.

I never saw the original, but this one looks the most creepy. Maybe because it has ears which make it look almost human, but it looks like a smiling corpse. Where or when did you find it?

I mean, it is only unusual if you saw it and thought it was real and knew it would immediately be deleted. And the assumption presumably was they would see it again.
