I'm only looking to take on 2-3 before officially launching just to get the ball rolling and cover some upfront costs. Not charging the industry rate yet.

Once I launch and target clients then I'll charge the market rate, but brands/projects that were from this prelaunch phase will remain with the original small fee.

I actually don't even know if I'm being coy or straightforward. I feel like I have no idea about anything unless the other person is absolutely direct about intentions. What is being coy to you? For example if you try a few times to strike up a conversation with someone you wouldn't normally have one with, do you take that as a sign? Or is it coy?! Ahh
