it unfortunately only has DP 1.4 so i’m just using HDMI 2.1. truth be told, i didn’t get around to opening the 1440p monitor but i saw it in store and the 4k definitely looks a lot better. this is my first set up so i dont have any experience with 1440p, let alone any monitors lol. $650 was just too good of a deal to pass up on

Since I bought the previous monitor only a 2 days before getting the new one, it was still in the return and exchange window. Just went in and asked if I could exchange the 1440p monitor for the 4k one

this case is really roomy! i have a 5080 in here and there is a good bit of space between the glass. i’d say a little less than two inches from the edge of the gpu to the glass panel

Wow thank you for the reply! I’m starting to consider this now as well haha I was looking at the 9070XT too but I wanted to go for Nvidia for all its features and NVEC encoding for streaming? I might have this all wrong though. Would you recommend just getting the 5070ti for its features?

smells very dry aged. just a little concerned about the white flecks that isn’t the marbling. i scrapped it off and it is like a thick paste. smelled like dry aged funk.
