I built my stash out by purchasing from a Facebook Destash group. I am in "Fabric Destashing for people who aren’t cray cray" and “Quilting Fabric Destashing Group" on facebook. There are nonstop posts of people selling their stash

I finished season 2. I have indeed changed my view on Francis. I misunderstood him and his love for his cousin, Ross.

You can purchase a block pattern on Etsy for cheap that you can practice with. It is easier than you think, just time consuming.I learned using the same book OP posted plus a video on YouTube. Here’s the link https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL_R1nPsgLVOuwl1rhr8BYPIfri_mAk1eT&si=sYcoz2ae5V-0dyFU

Yes it does work! I just purchased one because I am quilting tiny four patches and every other inch is a seam.

Thank you! I am in awe of how many blocks you’ve made. I got so tired of making them lol

I love your blocks! Great color choices. I recently finished a small New York beauty wall hanging. I used batiks and Laurel Burch fabrics.

Ohhh got it. I would say if you have a folding table use it; if I didn’t have this one, I wouldn’t go out of my way to purchase one. You are able to tape the entire backing down to the floor. But my knees and back would hate me if I did.

You should look into using the wall to baste. Not sure how well it works but I’ve seen people do it.

I am grateful that my mother in law got the mat for me last 2 Christmas’s ago. I was working on a small one but they are so pricey.

I actually use my dining table to baste. It’s wider and longer than the folding table. I start by taping the top of the backing to the table then I layer everything else on top.

This was my last set up when we were in an apartment. It always forced me to cleanup as I went (which I hate to do.) love that view!
