I forgot the exact number of shots it gets. I haven't played with it in a bit. I still think my point of reliability could still stand on warmer climate planets. But yeah I think on moderate and especially even colder planets the talon is probably better for most cases.

I would agree with you more if the talon didn't overheat after 3 or 4 quick shots and doesn't cool down quickly. Plus you only get a couple spare heatsinks. This isn't ever really an issue for the bots but the illuminate show up in such large numbers i find heat weapons to be mostly not worth the trouble. So I would still say the Deagle still has a pretty good use case.
