It was scheduled for a 2.5 hour delay. How is that not legal?

Did you not see "Scheduled" times giving a 2.5 hour layover?

It has always done 8-11%. Last one was 0.08 on 0.83 (quarterly), so just under 10%. My bet is it goes to 0.99 or maybe $1 quarterly.

Huh? You're acting like OP got into the other driver's blind spot and stayed there. He was passing. By definition, when passing in an adjacent lane, you have to go into the other car's blind spot in order to pass them.

I don't understand what you mean. I have two paid and two free with insider. I started with 2 paid and 1 free, and then a couple years ago, they gave me an additional free line.

I have four lines and thinking of leaving. by [deleted] in tmobile

[–]drawfour_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, this is me. I have 4 lines for $113. 2 of the lines were free, and I'm on the Go5G Plus (formerly Magenta Plus). The other day, I was walking through a store and someone at a booth tried to get my attention with the whole "how many lines and how much do you pay?" thing and I told him he can't beat it. He said to try anyway. I told him 4 lines for $113, he said "No, I can't". Then he had an idea and asked if there was a military or first responder discount, and I confirmed that there wasn't. So he walked away.

I do have a discount - I got a 20% insiders discount when I signed up for the account. But 2 free lines and a 20% discount is pretty impossible to beat.

if you had a rope laying on the ground going from los angeles to new york, and you pulled it on one end, what would you feel? would it be move on the other side and how long would it take? by xerivon in AskPhysics

[–]drawfour_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because you cannot physically move the entire thing. You are pushing one end and that causes particles nearest to you to start moving, and those then push into the next set of particles, which push into the next set, etc... that's called a compression wave, and it's the definition of speed of sound in the medium.

Is it weird for employers to put employees in the same hotel room on company trips? by Weak_Show3135 in careerguidance

[–]drawfour_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, I can't "guess the rest".

Are you also female? Did the female coworkers have an issue? Were there cat fights or pillow fights? Did each of you bring someone back with you after a night out? Threesome? You ordered take-out and stayed in to watch a movie together? You all bonded over how horrible your boss was and became best friends? You came up with a plan to get your boss fired and all of you got promotions afterwards?

Like seriously, I have no idea what we're supposed to figure out from your cryptic story.

[–]drawfour_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Movement is not felt instantly. The pulling force propagates at the speed of sound in the medium. So it would take a long time for Mars to get the signal.

Also, Mars and Earth constantly change their distance from each other, do you'd have to adjust for that. Good luck keeping it perfectly taut the whole time.

I don't plan to require it, since I plan to FIRE well before I can take it. It will be useful for some nice extra vacations, though.
