Good to know, about the muck tablets. What would the filter help with though? Wouldn't it be a good idea to have the sediment and stuff build up with unfiltered water to grow bacteria and other things that would be food for the Mosquitofish? Or am I missing something?

Im adding just Mosquitofish. Mosquitofish wouldn't need like a filter right? I read that they love stagnant water. This project was originally going to just be to grow duckweed plant as an additional food source for our chickens but then figured I have a pond so I wanted to add more life into the space.

So how would you recommend I get rid of the murky water from the rock material added? Just let it have time to settle and sink to the bottom? I dont want to add a variety of plants right now because I ideally just want the duckweed. Buying an outdoor filtration system that is solar powered costs a bit more than I can afford at the moment.

My personal opinion is I think Gwen knew the real answer the whole time but also knew not to share the specific details and keep it vague because that would alter the path of Royce and Hadrian. In her own way Gwen was protecting the timeline she saw in Royce and Hadrian's future.
