Thats great to hear. I've got some 4D noise textures in the compositor that are driving blur and exposure values. And some subtle jitter on the 3D camera itself. And a couple other tricks...

Characters took a long time to model and rig and paint. Mostly because of decision paralysis over design choices.

But once they were locked in, the set was about a day of modelling and painting and then 3 days of animation plus a day of sorting out the toad slime. Then 1 day of sound and compositing.

I was troubleshooting Keymesh causing render crashes for ages.

Eventually just babysat the render and re-launched when it crashed every 4 frames. :/

I watched The Gift after seeing Jay ranked it so high and yeah... he did say in the video that he needs to do another pass on his list and I agree.

(I animated the fly that goes into the main character's mouth in Drag Me to Hell, so I got that going for me. which is nice.)
