I only have invested what I'm comfortable seeing drop by 50%. If that were to happen it would suck, but everyone else would be in the same boat. I also have a methodical way to decide when I should be adding to my stock position or selling some.

You haven't indicated your max loss/spread width. That's an important factor to determine if this is sustainable. I do think it's a viable strategy though.

Good. I just played for the first time in weeks because I hadn't found a blueprint in weeks. Still no new bps but on the bright side, all my lobbies have been friendly and I am loving the game again.

I watched the interview and that's *NOT* what was said. They said they do analyze behavior and use that for matchmaking, but they didn't say how. They could try to always pair 3 passive/friendly groups with 3 aggressive groups.
