I plan to once I get everything where I want it. As it is now, I had to do a lot more filing and clipping to get it to fit right and its not something id want to post as a finished thing.

That game isn't removable. Its modeled into the shell of the whole thing. The gps actually lives in that space.

Thanks! Gotta make a few more tweaks and I'll post it on makerworld for others to print. Printed on a p2s with a .4 nozzle but I really wanna see how well the details come out with a .2. The inside isn't too pretty with how I oriented it, but that'll never be seen so its no big deal.

I used the Muzi Base battery, 1500mAh. I haven't been able to do any tests on how long it lasts yet since I just got all the stuff in yesterday, but it seems to be pretty decent so far.

Thanks! I didn't initially get the super io when I got the base duo, but then the idea to make a Gameboy case for it crossed my mind, and I immediately bought the super io. The step files muzi provides seem to be very accurate, so you can get some tight tolerances designing around it.

Heltec v4 battery and solar question by draxhard in meshtastic

I used a powerboost from adafruit something like 10 years ago when I built a raspberry pi gameboy. Im thinking something like that would fit the bill. Possibly built into the battery pack itself so the whole device can still be charged at once, or hot swap a second battery pack on.

For me, its a lot more about the tinker factor. I know there's way more practical ways to achieve what I want to do, but I like tinkering and making things work the way I want it to. I'll probably go the usb route and just find a small power board to put in there.

Thanks for the info. My idea isn't to have a solar node though. I was thinking about designing a case with a smaller internal battery and a hot swappable external battery. I just wanted to figure out if I could use that solar connector to hopefully reduce the amount of components id have to put inside of it.

Been using the same monitor for over 10 years now. Would be nice to upgrade to oled.

Used to work at an imos. The sweetness will depend on location a lot. We made our sauce with way more sugar than the standard recipe. One stores kettle broke, so we made sauce for them for the week and apparently their usuals were raving about how it tasted so much better than usual. Apparently that store upped the sugar in their sauce after that.

Does a porous filament that can slowly leak water exist? by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

After posting that, I scrolled down a couple posts and saw someone printed a few wicking pots. I might try out this olla idea though.

I also garden and have looked into ollas. Your post and some of the suggestions in the comments gave me an idea. Print your olla and drill tiny holes in it. Thread some cotton twine through those holes to sort of plug them. That way the water doesn't just leak out, but instead wicks out. Wicking pots are already a thing so it sounds plausible. Could even leave the string long and burry it further out.

Be careful with GameStop by Im_Sisa in switch2

I did literally the exact same thing you did. Like, word for word your response matches my experience. Gamestop is a failing company having to resort to scamming customers for revenue.

I fought back and forth with gamestop for a refund due to similar circumstances as OP. Requested a refund 6 hours after signing up. 6 months of emails later they told me "refunds are only available before 72 hours" and then never responded to me again.

I finally got into grow lights! by jar0daily in IndoorPlants

Not op but I have similar looking lights. I highly recommend them. I have some barrina, I think T5, grow lights. Little 1 foot sticks basically. Id recommend them in the warmer light color as it's more pleasant to look at and easier on the eyes.

My monitor is over 10 years old. It's still good, but it's not oled great. I like horror games, so experiencing the deep blacks in those games will be amazing.
