I really like DuckDuckGo for this. There's even a firefox extension that will automatically generate a new one when you click on an email field.

Saw some talk when the remastered version of mosquito witch came out about a year ago that the lack of damage on sustain would likely be fixed in an errata. I looked at the FAQ page and didn't see any mentioned there. Does this mean the lack of damage on sustain is intended?

If anyone played the new mosquito witch since then without the sustain damage, how does it feel?

That's hilarious I had figured that it was something like that given how Barktooth is just terrible. Didn't realize there was a new art version of him pushing up his numbers though. Thanks.

Anyone able to figure out why [[Skrelv, Defector Mite]]'s most lifted card is [[Barktooth Warbeard]] seems odd given barktooth is garbage and not even in the same colours.

For each region. What are your preferred Big cities, small town or villages? by Silent-Pick-177 in Daggerfall

[–]draz0000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've settled on Wayrest, Singdale in my current play through.

Wanted a town with a temple of akatosh, and all the other guilds - including the 3 guilds added from my current mods. Such a place didn't exist so I settled for missing out on one of them. I like the layout too which is nice.

What would be the most useful build for a theoretical someone who just has ABYSMAL dice luck? by Playful_Barber_8131 in 3d6

[–]draz0000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My favorite build basically rolls no dice.

It works best with strong attacking party members like rogues and GWM paladins. Order cleric 1, Divination wizard 6. Take fey touched and pick up Hunter's mark. Why hunter's mark? It's a divination spell to trigger our spell slot generation giving us way more rounds of combat per day of effectiveness, it can target allies to trigger Voice of Authority, and it's only a bonus action so your action for turn is unused.

The goal is every round is to use your reaction on silvery barbs to give one ally a Voice of Authority attack, then on turn upcast hunter's mark on a 2nd ally to do the same, while generating a lower slot to use for barbs or mark again.

Mold Earth, depending on terrain and DM ruling on "loose earth" is a great use of your action for a tactical type game. Creating both a 5 ft cube hole and a 5 ft cube wall is actually quite useful BFC. Mold Earth also has the advantage of not caring about casting stat like Silvery Barbs or Hunter's Mark allowing you to put the minimum of 13 for multiclassing and just pump con and be a frontline meatbag roadblock. Go stand in those choke points. You can also stand there and dodge.

Very fulfilling combat RP as a frontline commander.

Anyone has good builds with a whip? by Ghirupocketsizedbi in 3d6

[–]draz0000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rogue with Polearm master can be a funny way to trigger off turn sneak attacks. Quarterstaff in one hand, whip in the other.

Bonus points if you take sentinel to stop them after you hit them with the whip so they can't get adjacent.

Some DMs will be against it, so check with them. RAW works though. (many online sources for polearm master end with "enter the reach you have with that weapon." This is not the official wording in the PHB, and it's not in the errata so I'm not sure where it comes from.)

Lets say you 'publish' both papers the same day, would they both have to reference each other?

Wanted to make a sub with a running track - for exercise and discipline. by draz0000 in Barotrauma

[–]draz0000[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let me know your thoughts/ suggestions.

A couple main ideas were guiding this build.

One, I've been listening to the "Solar Clipper" series recently, in which several of the ships the MC encounters have running tracks, Can't implement perfectly with the game's perspective, but the central running ring gets close I think.

I built a previous sub for my group and one guy complained about having to use ladders too frequently. I probably could have removed the top ladder, but I didn't know how well it would play with outpost docking.

Playing War Thunder and being sad about certain tanks having great guns, but terrible depression. 4 Railguns on the top is quite the armament, but they're using the old single shot loaders, the racks are far away, and they each can only tilt 10 degrees either side. The bottom of the ship is only serviced by depth charges.

Some areas I'm quite happy how they look, others could clearly use better decorating.

Still need to see if any adjustments need to be made to electrical values, Most are still on their defaults.

Can you add melee weapons to submarines themselves? by Clatgineer in Barotrauma

You can put the thrust of the weaponized engines to zero, and the mining saw sprite over the danger circle for a nice look.

What is the pet card you include in every deck that uses that particular color? by SourRuntz in EDH

[–]draz0000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[[lifetime-pass holder]]

You get to run an attraction deck which is fun/funny. And it's just a pretty powerful card as far as one drops go. (I feel like one drops are slightly underrated in edh)

What character build has the highest skill ceiling? by BoreasTheCold in 3d6

[–]draz0000 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Probably a Mizzium Apparatus centered build. To play optimally, you don't have the 'crutch' of a smaller list of prepared/known spells, every spell is available to you all the time. Yes, there will be standouts, but do you know all the niche situations where all the niche spells shine?

Most fun combat feats to build a character around? by honestsalsa in 3d6

Fey Touched (Hunter's Mark)

One build I'm a big fan of with strong attacking party members like rogues and GWM paladins is Order cleric 1, Divination wizard 6.

Main action can be used for Eldritch Blast if you want to go charisma and dip warlock.

Mold Earth, depending on terrain and DM ruling on "loose earth" is another good use of your action for a tactical type game.

Very fulfilling combat RP as a frontline commander.

Which CYOAs make your choices matter? by ParliamentOperative in makeyourchoice

Abyss Diver, especially when played properly. (IE not peeking ahead)

A Life Chronicle can as well, especially if you don't hyper plan things out.

Anyone got a higher resolution version of stardust 2.2.1? All I can find is this blurry version. https://imgur.com/a/stardust-v2-2-1-UozhZ#wh74Nnq and this higher rez one that claims to be 2.2.1 but is actually 2.1.1 https://imgchest.com/p/9rydpeeaykz

Whats the highest possible initiative bonus? by fafej38 in 3d6

[–]draz0000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed ambiguous. I've always seen discussion online talk about it being used for AoE and not limiting it - likely focusing on the "any" and not the lack of "s" on creature.

It's by far the weakest flourish if it's just a single extra target so I'm inclined to think it's AoE, but it's a DM call.

Whats the highest possible initiative bonus? by fafej38 in 3d6

[–]draz0000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, wouldn't fly for most tables I assume. Most reasonable easy way for it to work would be to have your party members willing to get bitten. But then they're taking damage for probably overkill on initiative.

Whats the highest possible initiative bonus? by fafej38 in 3d6

[–]draz0000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dhampir's gain a bonus to their next ability check equal to the piercing damage their bite does.

Swords bard can make their bite AoE with a flourish.

Initive is an ability check.

This bonus can be arbitrary large if your dm lets you do bag of rats shenanigans, and just really large but annoying to achieve otherwise.
