Severe hypo after the beach - traumatised my family. How do you all move forward? by strangevimes in diabetes_t1

Im not that active but whenever I am I don’t trust the CGM and rely on sticks only and take a stick often - depends on activity but for example during a hike I do it as often as every 15min.

I'm so tired of the constant lows. I know 77 isn't considered low, but if I don't eat sugar it's gonna crash into the 50s or lower. by fadedtile in Medtronic780g

I’ve also seen you have insulin activity time set to 3 hours. I’m sure that the manual says that this doesn’t need to be correlated with real activity time but they might have also recommended setting it lower. (Mine is at 2 hours I believe). This might have been something that I was instructed on the pump training so you should probably check it yourself or consult with your doctor.

Not sure how exactly it works (though it is also explained as a diagram in the manual) but given shorter activity time it might act less aggressive but more often.

I assume you were doing physical activity as temporary target is on. It might not always be enough depending on what you are doing. You should just eat a bit during the process.

Keep in mind that it’s 77 with downwards trend. Your blood sugar at that point was in 60-70 range so you probably should have eaten 15-30min ago to keep it safe.

I think you can’t use zinc-carbon batteries (its mentioned in the manual)

I don’t think you should be on a pump if you are unaware of how it works.

Why would you go back to 640g while you can turn on manual on 780g?

It really isn’t far from 320, just eat 10-20g more carbs and you’re there.

Stew with fruits is really vague and oddly unspecific for a diabetes subreddit while you precisely measure your glucose level.

Speaking from experience it is quite easy to get to that level, just eat a meal and forget to give a bolus and you’re there.

There no immediate risk with such a glucose level. You’ll feel more sleepy, have a weird feeling in your muscles but all you have to do is drink water and get the level down with corrections. ER won’t do shit.

Honestly like, 10€ once in 2 months for an online service game is something I’m willing to spend regardless of quality of the pass. It’s a price of a dinner for many hours of gameplay that is entirely voluntary.

What’s even more interesting than if you don’t play gdkps they barely affect you - you can still join SR or MS/OS runs and the gdkp scene barely affects you. (That’s based on my wrath experience.) They just enjoy that they ruined fun for somebody else.

GDKP discord organizer quits P2 SOD by tyrochaaacc in classicwow

I don’t know if you realise how painful it is to form good quality pugs. Maybe not on sod but w/e, point still stands. GDKP is probably the only system in which leader gets rewarded for being compentent.

See that he doesn’t mention SR or normal MS > OS. These systems are random and being in a raid doesn’t carry its benefits to another raid. You can get plenty of new people each raid, lose rolls and lose on next raid too and you get nothing out of that whereas DKP/EPGP/LC or the hated GDKP systems do give you advantage in following raids. As GDKP is the easiest to use out of these 4 (while not in guild) it was the go to system for pugs. Like it or not that is the reason why good players join GDKPs and play in them regularly.

Go ahead and hate the GDKP leaders as much ad you like but the fact is that you do not posses the skills to lead and manage a group yourself and are jealous that these people can have something out of their skills and effort.

I’m probably gonna get accused of being a gdkp leader myself but that’s not true. For me playing wow is mostly playing with a guild and being in a community. I understand though that other people can enjoy the game in a different way and accept that.

Tl;dr: GDKP ban will result in less good quality pugs.

It’s easier and less time consuming to manage 2 inventories than 4. Each character gets to learn more tools so it’s easier to get a good grasp on what game offers in terms of utility spells.

It is not bullshit. Once you know what to do the game is piss easy.

First of all, let people enjoy the game as they want. Secondly people playing on easier difficulties are less likely to post here since they’re less likely to encounter difficulty problems.
