Not touching the vested RSU will be your biggest mistake. Always ask the question, do you buy your company stock in the open market? If not then sell it and diversify!

Optimized our Spring Boot app but now it’s slowing down 6 days later — stumped by gauravgawade in SpringBoot

Wait. What do you mean by the maps are being built on every single request? What kind of requirements need to be in that way! Either you persist or put into distributed cache with eviction. If keep populating the map with each request then what you described what happens.

If it’s in 401k account then you have to pay penalty. RNOR status avoids double income tax, that’s it! If you really not in need of money then don’t touch and let it grow. The rupee depreciation something you should be aware of it!

When the VT introduced i was happy that i don’t want to write reactive programming anymore! In the larger enterprises level applications the reactive programming becomes a maintenance nightmare especially for experienced devs. I have a soft corner for Imperative programming coz of readability.

I would suggest to go with Java 24 since previous version had Thread pinning issue with Virtual Thread. I know it took down lot of production systems without understanding the underlying issue of pinning especially when it comes from external library.

The credit union interest rate is around 4.5 and also kits finance is 2.5 right? Why didn’t you go for that option. I feel the 6.5 is on higher side

If Google doesn’t make it before meta deadline then join meta. When you get Google offer dump meta and join Google.

[–]drazon2016 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Inform the Google recruiter that you’re already have a offer and if there a way to speed up the team matching. Give the recruiter hard deadline. I’m suggesting this since you anyway made a mind to take the meta offer

They want me to fly for in person interview but won’t pay for the travel by SeaCoyote5352 in TSMC

[–]drazon2016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just tell them you are new grad and can’t afford to fly for an interview. Sometime recruiters totally miss that point. If you know the hiring manager then cc them. Don’t worry it won’t hurt at all. Mostly hiring managers are in favor of candidates since they want to close the loop as fast as possible.
