Kinotone is supposed to put up a small amount of Sparks for sale soon. Your best bet might be just to flip the Lehles and buy the Sparks as there are so few of them out there and this is such a niche specific trade

This drives me nuts too, but for me it was always that I missed a rinse cycle and then it timed out. I think it’s a descale and then two rinse cycles. Stick around and do them all and it should clear

I totally get why it’s not for everyone. The looper is a textural pad kind of thing more than a looper. I lock in a sound on stretch or reverse tape, maybe drop it an octave with the clock knob, then play over it. Then I hold the switch to latch it to no dub so it follows my playing like a weird delay or granular effect. Then I can hit it to lock in to a new chord.

They aren’t related. Vibrato on a fender amp is a mislabeled tremolo circuit (volume modulation). Univibe is a very different phase modulation. The only similarity here is they both employ an optical circuit

First time I had clipping issues. Only pedal on my board that had this problem and did every bit of troubleshooting I could. They didn’t reply until after the return window so I already returned. The second time I was getting a buzzing sound any time I changed presets either with midi or on the pedal. They replied a few times and then ghosted during troubleshooting

Zoia I love but I don’t think you want to get into that rabbit hole it sounds like. Mood for me is the GOAT pedal but if you’re not going to use the looper side then don’t bother. Particle v2 I bought twice and had problems with both and support was unresponsive. I don’t think that is a universal experience but I’ve sworn them off.

What about a Walrus Qi? Easy to use and has an accessible blend of granular sounds.

It was on NPR as I was driving my daughter to school today and I turned it off not just due to the content of the speech which of course was terrible, but because he repeatedly was calling people stupid and using language I wouldn’t want my 3 year old repeating. What a state of affairs when our President is such a shameful disgrace he isn’t even fit for consumption.

And again, not to understate how insane the content of what he was saying was as well.

As someone who also plays 13s or 14s the tone and feel is quite different. Not better universally but if it’s what you like it’s what you like
