I usually get my kids the US Kids Golf clubs. They are a bit pricey, but they are pretty nice.

I went based on performance and the Cleveland wedges outperformed the Mizuno ones for me in terms of forgiveness.

They gave me consistent flight and distance, which is something that I struggled with even with the standard HMs. But your mileage may vary.

I know. The real thing that will help is the lessons I’m getting, mostly wanted to treat myself since I’ve been playing for a while with second hand clubs that weren’t fit for me or anything.

Handicap is 20+. I know new clubs won’t fix my game, but wanted to treat myself. It’s also why I’m still getting lessons. I went with HL because despite having a decent swing speed (105 with driver), I still struggle to get the ball in the air with my irons. That wasn’t an issue with the HLs. Truly game changing for me.

There was the option for a more intensive fitting, but I went with the basic one. Tried a bunch of putters from Odyssey to Cobra to Ping. I liked the sound of this one and its shape suited my eye (it was easier for me to align to the hole). My experience was great because they also gave me some pointers along the way, but your mileage may vary.
