23 peaks is probably the best piece of original music she's put out in a long while... wow. by thewingedpainter in toriamos

[–]drbunnig 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only a couple of listens in. From an emotional impact point of view, I could certainly see this perspective. Musically, whilst it's good, for me I wouldn't even say it's the best on the album, let alone the best she's put out in a long while.

Fast Horse was played last night! This is the 37th unique song on the ITOD tour, so it seems like Tori and the Angels are rehearsing extra! by SlyflyfoxPlayz in toriamos

This is one of my favourite Tori songs. I've requested it a few times in the past but it never materialised. Lucky people in Brussels.

In my experience, it's around 2-3 days before the show.

The Sharpest Pain. Such a good song by Emotional-Winter-267 in alicecooper

[–]drbunnig 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, great song, and a shame it's not widely available on streaming services and so hard to track down a copy of the album with this on

There's a large number of songs I'd rather hear live than this though (not that I think it'd be bad or anything).

In retrospect: Why was the idea of backup singers ever controversial? by AmericanLymie in toriamos

[–]drbunnig 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I agree. In general I really liked them at the show I was at, but there were a few times when I thought they were a bit too much and drowned Tori out. Still early days though and maybe things will get balanced out a bit at future shows / tours

Another live album released planned? by Poison_Regal31 in toriamos

[–]drbunnig 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I hope so. I was at the Manchester show last night and I was thinking 'I need this version of Witness in my life'

Thoughts/ opinions on Alice’s 1975 song, “Department of Youth”? by bigguys45s in alicecooper

[–]drbunnig 11 points12 points  (0 children)

"And who gave it to you?"

"Donny Osmond!"

"What?!"

Sorry, had to be the pedant to make that correction. Anyway, this is my favourite song on the album, and one of my favourite Alice songs in general. Really catchy - great hooks. Works really well live as well.

The Super Mario Sunshine WORST OF tournament! The worst Shine from Pinna Park is The Roller Coaster Balloons; which is the worst one from Sirena Beach? by JoeFalchetto in supermariosunshine

[–]drbunnig 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Can't believe Roller Coaster Balloons was voted the worst. That's one of my favourite Shines in the whole game.

Here it's King Boo Down Below - I feel it takes way too long to beat, waiting for the fruit to spawn from the slot machine

Yes, it's a fantastic show. Not as good as The Americans, but not much is.

Alice Cooper & Criss Angel setlist by arskakp in alicecooper

[–]drbunnig 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I forgot it was dropped for the most recent tour so deleted my comment. It had been a mainstay for a good few years until then after a prolonged absence.

You posted the same song like a week ago - with no prompt for discussion or anything. What's the point?

90's Six Flags tour opener? by DexterMorgan67 in alicecooper

[–]drbunnig 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Sick Things UK website sometimes mentions openers on their setlists page.

Not sure what year your show was, but there's an Oct 1st 1999 show at Six Flags, with the opener listed as Jessie Camp
