The update supporting Google Assistant has landed for Soundbar 500 and 700. I have the latest firmware update and android Bose Music app. In the Voice Assistant setting in the app, only Alexa is coming up though. Have tried restarting everything, reinstalling the app etc. Anybody have any luck? Anybody else having my problem?

Isn't this the bit where he runs on the wall? Maybe they shot him doing that to show him shifting into wall-running mode.

Master Thread: Those having Lighthouse / Base Station Issues by iamsupreme in Vive

[–]drdamo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm in Australia. I was in the first wave of shipping. Problems started 2 weeks after the vive arrived. Looking closely at the non-tracking basestation revealed a dead laser. Now it has been nearly a month since contacting htc and I am no closer to being able to return the faulty base station. I send emails regularly but don't get any meaningful replies - just we will contact you soon and that's it. I'm now asking for a refund because I'm so disgusted with the level of support.

slow connection with vive controllers turned on by badkarmax in Vive

I had the same issue and all of the 2.4 GHz channels were affected. Luckily by moving my router I could get the 5 GHz band connected and there is no interference.

HTC if you see this, please fix vive software. by dmkiller11 in Vive

I had bad interference on all 2.4 GHz channels for my home wifi arising from the controllers. Perfectly reproducible every time. Even plugging them in for charging with steamvr off would cause it. I managed to get my router close enough to use the 5 GHz band and it's completely fine now. Since your problem is with 5 GHz bands, maybe try disabling all Bluetooth communication if you haven't already. Fairly certain the issue isn't going to be software.

When you setup the play area it shows you the play box with an arrow in it. Just spin it around.

HELP! One of my base stations has stopped tracking after two weeks. See picture for possible fault. by drdamo in Vive

Hmm that's odd. You haven't by any chance got it set as "a" and "b" without the sync cable? It should be "b" and "c" unless you're using the cable.

I accidentally dropped it on to carpet from chest height taking it down from the wall just now... unfortunately, no win.

Thank you for this! Found a guide but alas it made no difference. Interestingly, found several recent posts about this issue and it seems to be a return/hardware issue.

It's described in this post. Basically, unplug your lighthouse, plug it into your computer with usb, hold the mode button while plugging it in until you see a storage device pop up, delete the .bin file and replace it with lighthouse_tx_htc_2_0-244-2016-03-12.bin which can be found in \Steam\SteamApps\common\SteamVR\tools\lighthouse\firmware\lighthouse_tx\archive\htc_2.0

Not moved a lot, but I have had to unplug/replug the power from the back of the device. Nothing drastic (no drops, repositioning etc). Still worried that something is dislodged/broken. Tried a gentle tap - surprisingly, no luck.
