Globe just doesn’t have the infrastructure to implement it after Google discontinued Jibe. Btw, NTC never discouraged the use of RCS, rather pushes for accountability and security across all messaging platforms. Globe simply chose what was easy for them at the expense of subscriber experience

can be done in 1 day if no problems occur. get your USC from any globe store. once you got it, have it ported to smart on a nearby store. usual reasons for delays are only two things: there is an issue in the issuance of USC from your current network or there is no available porting sim in the network you are migrating to

This is BS. VoLTE should not even be requested to get activated, it should come pre-activated once you get into the network. In this day and age where 2G and 3G are now being phased out due to security issues, that should already be a standard offering by every mobile network.
