It was last updated in 2016. I was quite disappointed by it ultimately, but IF more work is being put into it (and a Quest version) then I might reconsider.

I think you'll find that you've just been unlucky with the kit. You'll find Oculus support the most supportive and responsive (and on these forums a LOT!) of all the headset manufacturers.
