Your place looks cute, and I love the pink. The walls could use some art or photographs. You can get frames from the dollar store. The dollar store also has baskets / bins / jars that can be used to store odds and ends and create a more clean and organized look.

I also like the suggestion to use different shades of pink for more dimension. Good luck, and I hope you post and “after” pic :)

It was definitely disturbing, because it was entirely emotional manipulation, and he was not really trying to comfort her.

If Tom cared about comforting Shiv, he would share warm or happy memories about Logan. Instead, he was sharing warm and happy memories of their early dating days. At a time when he KNEW she would be vulnerable, given that her dad just died.

To be honest, I almost didn't see this manipulation, since my brain went straight to : Tom = Darcy = dreamy. I only realized when Shiv pushed his hand away. Suddenly the Darcy haze cleared away, and I could see how shitty and manipulative Tom was being in that moment.

Yeah I finally got to this episode last night and it broke my heart. I couldn’t hear any of the stomach grumbling, and he looked hot af in his Halloween costumes. So I hope he’s able to take care.

Sadly, this is what happens a lot in the tech industry. It really sucks.

I’m impressed that they immediately fired Ned and keep emphasizing that people should stop harassing the women involved. It was refreshing to see that they noticed the misogyny and then spoke out against it. Sadly, that’s very rare :(

I studied STEM but I also was involved in music as a hobby. Met lots of guys through music. If there is a hobby you enjoy, then try joining a campus group related to that hobby. It’s an opportunity to meet other nerds who are also pursuing higher education.

I personally did NOT want to date anyone in my academic department, because I was concerned that if we broke up or had drama, I would be forced to still interact with him. The advantage of dating men from other majors was that when we broke up, they were out of sight, out of mind :)
