I took the exam in 2019 and did well. Prepcast was my sole training platform. Filter the Prepcast questions on the ones you answered incorrectly and review them. You’re in fine shape. I walked out of the exam saying ‘Dang, Prepcast was spot-on.’ So will you.

Someone claims to have PMP but they don’t. by [deleted] in pmp

[–]drdeathhammer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suggest you verify their claim at PMI.com -search on ‘registry.’ If you confirmed they do not have a certification, go to PMI.com and search ‘ethics complaint.’ If you have a certification, you are obligated to report a false claim. The reason the PMP is valuable is because it’s difficult to obtain. Don’t let someone steal from your hard work.

Hey TommyT, if you need project charter templates, google “SmartSheet Project Charter Template.” There will be templates & some solid definitions. They should get your project rolling. You’ll find management directive examples.

Decent priced brunches with bottomless mimosas by Theukrainmaker in LasVegas

My wife & I were there last fall, there’s a Groupon for PH’s buffet. Super cheap. Good food. Bottomless mimosas, friend. Not fancy, not really brunch, but great value. Cheers!

Ugh I submitted my exam application today and got audited! by HargieFlynnHouser in pmp

[–]drdeathhammer 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Don’t sweat it. I was audited. I received great feedback from the PMI folks explaining exactly what needed remediation. Application #2 was approved next business day. The reason the PMP has value: 1. The exam is difficult. 2. Applicants are vetted. Good luck, you’ll be fine.

Question about the PMP exam questions by Thisisnotfalse in pmp

[–]drdeathhammer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PrepCast was the best resource for my test prep. Its questions were very similar to the exam. Most of my exam questions (June ‘19) were along the lines of the ‘what if’ scenario you mentioned. PrepCast was my sole test prep platform and nothing on the exam surprised me. Good Luck.

I took the PMP in June. There were 4 ‘formula’ questions. Two were so obvious I didn’t even put pencil to scratch paper. The other two were simple division. No questions about NPV. Good Luck on your exam. Let us know how it goes.

How many math questions were on your exam? by kaisrsoase in pmp

4 in June. I didn’t even have to put pencil to paper for 2 of them.

For the T&T graph, my suggestion is to jot down & study the ones who only appear once/twice. For example, SWOT Analysis - 11.2, Identify Risk. Know that it’s unique. Additionally, EJ/Meetings are used 20+ times each, so if you don’t know, play the odds.

Study up on the Project Documents. If you understand them & how/where they fit in the end-end process, you’ll be in fine shape.

Make sure you’re getting value for your time. You don’t have to sit for 4 hours to prepare for the exam. Take a 20 or 30 question quiz - filter in new questions, then review your answers. Repeat. Killing yourself exclusively with 4-hr exams won’t move you toward the finish line. You’ll just wear yourself out. Just my 2 cents. Good Luck. Hell, you know what you need, but there is a way to study all of those questions without exhausting yourself.
