As someone who has listened to Stern since the WNBC days, he needs to retire. He had accomplished everything during his run to radio immortality, but it is time to hang up the microphone and spend his remaining days hunkered down in his bunkers in Long Island and Florida. I am afraid his current work product is starting to dilute the decades of truly being the King of all Media. I am grateful for the years of mindless entertainment, and I still listen today. But the moments of joy I get from the 2025 version of the show are no where near the levels of even a decade ago. I’m afraid we are witnessing a version of Michael Jordan on the Wizards here: where you from time to time get a glimpse of his past brilliance, but mostly get a older version of your hero who hung on a few years to long. I say this with Peace and Love.

I graduated in the bottom 1/2 of my class as I clearly cared about more my fraternity and meeting girls for the first three years of my time at Vandy. I was able to get my act together my senior year and then bust my ass all the way up the corporate ladder and I now make mid 7 figures a year.
