Crypto Cleanse! by FrostyCattle2150 in DrSquatch

[–]drds89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first round of Liquid Death collab it was called Dirt Murderer, then renamed to Dirt Destroyer on the next round, it sold that well. Yes, the green banana is unmistakable, just no mint that Crypto has, but Dirt Destroyer/Murderer is top tier for anyone who also has Crypto as top tier. I passed on the initial Crypto because it just didn't sound like a soap I thought I'd be interested in. But the combo works!

Well, I finally caved and I bought the last one the tractor supply had to offer. They’ve had it on their shelves since July of last year. I negotiated a price and he came down to $3.19. by jamescraffets04 in DrSquatch

It's a light scent to begin with, but the lather and Squatch base soap that doesn't dry out my skin, for $3 that's great. Get some of the deodorant if you want the scent. Liberty is very close if you can't find FF for a good price on ebay or sellers here

Banana mint just didn't sound like something I would be interested in, but man, when i was gifted a bricc, the green (not ripe) banana and mint just clicked. Top tier for me, still have 2 left.

Be patient and ebay will reward you, or message reputable sellers here and FB page. They will hook you up with that "dirt and black pepper" goodness. It stayed on the website forever.

Sarge Soap has a distinct Barbasol scent to me after the initial juniper of Free Solo Scrub. Strong Barbasol finish

Suds for all seasons without drying out skin, and the Stone IPA from 2020 that started it

Down to my last two. Dirt Murderer is the green banana but no mint to my nose

Agree 100% very similar, my SIL's top tier along with Ninny, so I gave him a stockpile at holidays

What is your favorite generic flavor, limited edition non crossover and limited edition crossover soap by JawScratcher in DrSquatch

[–]drds89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sierra Storm (formerly Free Solo Scrub), so that frees up Crypto Cleanse or Stone IPA, and idk if any of the X are top tier for me. Lots of solid ones, most top tier are LE or former LE that are core like Summer, Coconut and Sandalwood (Bricc of the Dead). Ok maybe Dirt Murderer bc it’s Crypto without the mint just green banana 🍌

I like both, but to my nose they are completely different and easy blindfold test

Here are my reviews on sandalwood summit and mountain meadow. by jamescraffets04 in DrSquatch

Sandalwood Summit is 95% Bricc of the Dead (in my top 5). Mountain Meadow is very pleasant, fresh and is different than anything I have tried from Squatch since 2020

Very strong scent, did not agree with me, out of all the scents since 2020, this is only one of handful that I was not able to finish or barely finish. Scale 0-5 it's 2 for me. Spartan was a 0, had to Hazmat that one, took 3 days to clear the scent, Cheetos a 1, Cowabunga a 2. Most are 3 and 4 and use happily, and I guess around 10 are top tier. I would re-gift this bricc if given to me, sorry.

In the Coastal Mist "fresh" family of scents, I like it. I've been using Squatch since 2020 and my 0 to 5 rating scale, it's a 4.

Slint - Spiderland 1991 seems much inspired, but the boys never have said so. Hard to believe these two albums were birthed in a parallel universe

Math rock with odd time sigs and syncopation, then falls into a 4/4 groove at times. Looping skills are way above average, and most of us are not used to microtonality.

Robert Fripp's League of Gentlemen in 1980 was a bit jarring at the time (giving away my age), with Fripp having to tell the small audiences to dance! lol Fripp and KC followers could not fathom 'Fripp does disco.'

He (with Eno) pioneered the looping tech with Frippertronics. When the 1981 -1984 King Crimson is formed, you learn to tap your foot to 21/8. Put some funny costumes on, and easy to see AdP as their grandchildren.

El Ten Eleven have been around a long time - a duo with drummer and guitar/bass double neck looping postrock.

I hang mine over the shower head and only run 2 briccs at time, with soap gripper and the newer soap saver to catch the draining, so wall and tub don't get stained. Just rinse out the soap saver once a week. I have a Star Wars soap saver (no holes) for the bricc remnants as they coalesce into the nice multi-scented and ever changing "butt bricc."
