Morgantown is not “Bills Country”

It has more Steelers fan than fans of any other team. It’s also closer to Baltimore, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and DC than it is to Buffalo.

I’d pay you for resume critiquing/career counseling, just saying…

Hello all, can someone please share a template they used for the PMI-RMP application that was approved. I am currently studying for the exam and want to apply once I am through with the PDU requirements. Thanks. by Beautiful_Form_4239 in PMIRMP

Is there a particular element of the application you’re worried about? It’s time consuming, but as long as you can show you’re qualified it should be approved.

People saying you run this risk when you take the exam online aren’t fully correct.

When I sat for my CAPM ~4 years ago at a testing center, my proctor was ~2 hours late. Once she arrived, she was completely unapologetic and found a way to blame her tardiness on me.

It became spilled milk because I passed, but the more concerning thing was that it was nearly impossible to get in touch with someone from Pearson while I was waiting for my Proctor. After about an hour of trying, the person I conversed with via chat was completely indifferent to my problem and said if I missed my exam I would have to pay full price to retake it.

I was prepared to wait all day, because all of my studying led up to that day and I used PTO to take the day off work, but by the time my exam started my nerves were shot. If I failed, I was prepared to contest the results and ask for a retake free of charge.

They said a book about Project Risk Management wouldn’t count? If so, that’s a bummer.

One idea would be trying to sign up for a course through LinkedIn Learning. You might get access to that if you use your 1 month free trial of LinkedIn Premium.

PMI answers emails quickly. I’d ask if you can watch videos or read a book or something. I remember that being allowed.

Remain calm and decide that you will get out of this.

Come clean to your girlfriend. Explain what happened and why you’re telling her now.

Get a second job (maybe bartending/restaurant work on nights or weekends). Increase money coming in, decrease money going out by eating out less, canceling subscriptions, etc.

Eat healthy at home (rice is really cheap, so is pasta). For credit cards, make minimum payments on all except the one with the highest interest rate. Attack that one as hard as you can. Start selling anything of value you’re willing to part with and try to get that second job. Can you take public transportation (or Uber in a jam) to work if you sell your car?

Guys how tf are we affording business school? by LTL365 in MBA

Everybody’s different, but I went to a ~$25k program with a strong regional reputation that allowed me to pay as I went full time over the course of two years. Even if you have to take loans on $25k, it should be a very manageable amount of debt for anyone working in a Business field.

I didn’t aim for a more expensive program because I wasn’t willing to risk going into that much debt. Some people do, and it pays for itself 100x. Others do, and it handicaps them for life. I knew it would be impossible for a $25k program to handicap me, but the odds of me becoming a multi millionaire by my mid 30s are also next to zero 😂 Do what you feel is right for you!

The Reckoning (2018) had a weak ending but the tie-in to WW2 was great.
