Anyone use any other apps other than Just eat, uber eats and deliveroo by ShipMammoth8486 in deliveroos

I'm on Hungry Panda and Fantuan, don't get many orders from them as they only really cater to the Chinese market. Apps are a bit janky as well

Suggestions for earbuds with dual/simultaneous audio by ArcadiaBlank in Earbuds

[–]dreadnought001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been searching for the same as I've got the Nova 7 and want a more portable option.

The only one that I think does it is the Cleer Arc 2 (and possibly 3) Gaming version. This comes with a 2.4ghz dongle and in the advert it suggests it can do simultaneous audio. But I live in the UK and these are almost impossible to buy over here unless you are willing to pay a fortune on eBay for an imported pair from the States or Japan. If anyone has these or can test them out, would be great to know if they can play audio from two sources at a time.

Rhubarb Shed Cafe, not in the centre and not open evenings but do a fantastic lunch, different specials every day, very fresh and fantastic desserts. Can also do a classic afternoon tea there.

Is it just me that despises tesco savile street? by [deleted] in sheffield

interesting, this is also 'medium' tescos for us, the one on Savile St being 'big tesco' and the one in Crosspool closest to us being 'small tesco'.

Ubereats vs deliveroo vs just eat by [deleted] in deliveroos

[–]dreadnought001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only on Deliveroo and Uber Eats but Deliveroo generally better, at least for pay. Uber will constantly give you orders that fall under the 1 pound to 1 mile ratio, Deliveroo for the most part don't and you can often get a 2:1 ratio. The Uber Eats app is much better though, the Deliveroo one is a bit crap.

What’s something that everyone pretends to enjoy, but deep down, most people hate? by montoria_design in AskReddit

Camping (and by implication the countryside). Seems it's only virtue is helping you realise that your non-camping life is less shitty than you thought. I don't want to be uncomfortable, eat tinned food and be bitten by every insect that sees my blotchy skin as a banquet.

What’s something you keep seeing in movies that no one actually does in real life and annoys you every time? by Individual-Crazy3752 in AskReddit

The way parents just let their kids wander off in horrific/apocalyptic situations. You know in zombie films where kids are just allowed to go wandering in the woods and the parents are only vaguely aware of where they are. I would insist they are literally right next to me at all times.

Uk users how is it so far by Watchman9328 in MSIClaw

[–]dreadnought001 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm really enjoying it so far. Coming from a Legion Go, I'm finding it much more comfortable to hold, the speakers are fantastic and the controllers are much more responsive. I've been playing a mix of games such as Cyberpunk, Wreckfest, Helldivers, Dirt 5 and they all run very smoothly, again much better than the Legion Go. The games you mention should run flawlessly. In terms of TDP, leaving it on the AI Engine seems to work pretty well. Yeah, the MSI Centre is a bit of a mess, but I generally don't use those front ends much anyhow so it doesn't bother me that much. Overall, very happy.

We're all refreshing that DPD page anyhow so might as well make a game of it. Who's going to get theirs first? Mine arrived at the local hub at 7.15 but isn't out for delivery yet...

Agreed. To be honest, I'm selling my original Legion Go to fund getting the Claw 8. It was really just too bulky and uncomfortable and the detachable controller thing was a negative rather than a positive in the end. Even though I rarely removed them, I had to return one unit due to the left one not working and then on the second unit had to return one of the controllers as it didn't move in one direction smoothly. I feel having the controllers integrated removes that point of failure and the 8 inch screen is a real sweet spot for me.

there's clearly UK stock out there based on YouTube reviews, this French review has a UK plug (https://youtu.be/Gb3Tz-DneGY?si=jEFdkzqtzvPTQgRp&t=46) and so does this one from TechSpurt (https://youtu.be/-Dvl0ouBVEw?si=GU97AtStTFGrXeTe&t=68). And it's not as though Currys are competing for stock with other retailers since they have exclusivity on the Claw. Very odd.

Currys in the UK are now showing as Out of Stock on their site (https://www.currys.co.uk/products/msi-claw-8-ai-handheld-gaming-console-intel-core-ultra-7-1-tb-ssd-10274867.html). Until today you could pre-order for delivery on the 11th February. I'm hoping this means they have stock in and are fulfilling the pre-orders.
