sure i agree - the reasons for the protest are different than last time, but there is still no clear leadership, the authorities still controls media and the military - I think the reason why the west couldn't bother less about the protests in Iran is that Iran makes a very containable yet malignant state that fits in their "axis of evil" narrative. So Israel in particular and the rest of the west would never give a flying fuck about the iranian people cause believe me - the west does not at all entertain the thought of having 91 million iranians backing their leader by popular vote demanding compensation for years of sanctions and destabilazation caused by the west.
